Brandon Jackson Storm (born May 14,1976) is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Kentucky Senate from the 21st district. Elected in November 2020,he assumed office on January 1,2021.
Storm is a native of Laurel County,Kentucky. [1] He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in police administration from Eastern Kentucky University in 2000 and a Juris Doctor from the Mississippi College School of Law in 2003. [2]
Storm worked in independent law firms before founding his own in 2009. He was elected to the Kentucky Senate in November 2020 and assumed office on January 1,2021. He also serves as vice chair of the Senate Transportation Committee and chair of the Senate Enrollment Committee. [3]
The Kentucky Senate is the upper house of the Kentucky General Assembly. The Kentucky Senate is composed of 38 members elected from single-member districts throughout the Commonwealth. There are no term limits for Kentucky senators. The Kentucky Senate meets at the Kentucky State Capitol in Frankfort annually beginning in January. Sessions last for 60 legislative days in even-numbered years and 30 legislative days in odd-numbered years.
