The Seattle Central Library is the flagship library of the Seattle Public Library system. The 11-story glass and steel building in the downtown core of Seattle, Washington was opened to the public on May 23, 2004. Rem Koolhaas and Joshua Prince-Ramus of OMA/LMN were the principal architects, and Magnusson Klemencic Associates was the structural engineer with Arup. Arup also provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, as well as fire/life safety, security, IT and communications, and audio visual consulting. Hoffman Construction Company of Portland, Oregon, was the general contractor.

Phoenix Union Station is a former train station at 401 South 4th Avenue in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, United States. From 1971 to 1996 it was an Amtrak station. Until 1971, it was a railroad stop for the Santa Fe and Southern Pacific Railroads. Union Station was served by Amtrak's Los Angeles–New Orleans Sunset Limited and Los Angeles–Chicago Texas Eagle. The station is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Phoenix Public Library is a municipal library system serving Phoenix, Arizona, and operated by the city of Phoenix. Four of the 16 locations were designed by prominent local architect Will Bruder: the Burton Barr central library, the Cholla branch location at Metrocenter Mall, the Mesquite branch at Paradise Valley Mall, and the Agave branch in far northwest Phoenix. It is the university's largest library and houses its main stacks, special collections, rare books and manuscripts, and many departmental subject libraries. The library was originally built in 1912, and was renovated in 1951, 1977, and 2009. It is named in honor of the university's fifth president, William Oxley Thompson.

His resume also included hundreds of private homes and residences throughout Arizona.

Part of a re-vitalization project for the City Centre area, the building was designed by Bing Thom.
