Christian Little (born July 5,2003) is an American college baseball pitcher for the LSU Tigers. He previously played for the Vanderbilt Commodores.
Little was born and grew up in St. Louis,Missouri and attended Christian Brothers College High School. [1] He committed to play college baseball at Vanderbilt when he was 14 years old. [2] As a junior,Little was named the Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year after posting a 6–1 record with a 1.88 ERA and 58 strikeouts. [3] Little completed his high school coursework over the following summer in order to enroll at Vanderbilt early. [4]
Little made 11 starts during his freshman season and went 3–2 with a 5.48 ERA and 49 strikeouts. [5] At 17 years old,he became the youngest pitcher to start a Southeastern Conference (SEC) game. [6] Little later became the youngest player to start a College World Series game. [7] As a sophomore,Little pitched mostly in relief and had a 3.72 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 38+2⁄3 innings pitched over 18 appearances. He entered the NCAA transfer portal after the end of the season. Little ultimately committed to transfer to Louisiana State. [9] [10] During the summer prior to his junior season, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League. [11] [12]

The Vanderbilt Commodores baseball team is an American National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) college baseball team from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, the team participates in the Eastern division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and plays its home games on campus at Hawkins Field. The Commodores are coached by three-time National Coach of the Year and three-time SEC Coach of the Year, Tim Corbin. During Corbin's tenure as head coach, Vanderbilt has become one of the premier college baseball programs in the United States, responsible for 19 first-round picks in the MLB draft.

Rex Colman Brothers is an American former professional baseball pitcher. After playing college baseball at Lipscomb University, Brothers was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 2009 MLB draft. He debuted with the Rockies in 2011 and played for them until 2015. He also played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs.
Tyler Joseph Beede is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). The Toronto Blue Jays selected him in the first round, with the 21st overall selection, of the 2011 MLB draft, but he turned down a $2.5 million signing bonus to instead attend Vanderbilt University. He played college baseball for the Vanderbilt Commodores, and was drafted by the San Francisco Giants as the 14th pick in the first round of the 2014 MLB draft. Beede made his MLB debut in 2018.
