England national under-20 football team, also known as England Under-20s or England U20(s) or England Men's Elite Squad, represents England in association football at an under-20 age level and is controlled by the Football Association, the governing body for football in England.
England were champions of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, after defeating Venezuela in the final of the 2017 tournament. [1]
From October 2023, the squad was rebranded as the England Men's Elite League Squad to reflect their participation in the Under 20 Elite League. [2]
The team were most recently managed by Joe Edwards on an interim basis [3] before he departed for Millwall on 6 November 2023. [4]

Timothy Filiga Cahill is an Australian former professional soccer player who played as an attacking midfielder but also played as a striker on many occasions. A box-to-box midfielder, Cahill became recognised for "his aggressive and powerful approach and his ability to head the ball in the penalty area". Cahill has scored 50 goals in 108 caps between 2004 and 2018 and is regarded as one of the greatest Australian soccer players of all time. He currently works as a pundit for BBC Sport and Sky Sports.

Mary Rose Phillip is a former English international footballer and a football team manager who manages men's Kent County League team Peckham Town. A versatile player, she played in all four positions at the back and also in midfield. Phillip captained England, the first black player to captain an England women's international football team, and until 2011 was the only player to represent the country in two World Cup squads. During her playing career she had 65 international caps. She enjoyed a successful club career with Millwall Lionesses, Fulham, Arsenal and Chelsea.
