The National Lacrosse League (NLL) is a men's professional box lacrosse league in North America. Headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the NLL currently has fifteen teams: ten in the United States and five in Canada. The NLL ranks third in average attendance for pro indoor sports worldwide, behind only the NHL and NBA. Unlike other box lacrosse leagues which play in the summer, the NLL plays its games in the winter and spring, from December to June. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the National Lacrosse League Cup. The NLL has averaged between 8,900 and 10,700 spectators per game each year since 2004.
The Philadelphia Wings are a member of the National Lacrosse League, a professional box lacrosse league in North America starting in 1987. They played at the Spectrum (1987–96) and then at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Chicago Shamrox were an American professional lacrosse team that played in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) in the 2007 and 2008 NLL seasons. Home matches were played at the Sears Centre in northwest suburban Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The team's ownership group was headed by Kevin Loughery Jr., the son of former NBA head coach Kevin Loughery. The new franchise was announced on February 16, 2006, and the name "Shamrox" was chosen in May 2006.
The New York Titans were a professional lacrosse team based in the New York metropolitan area. The team was a member of the Eastern Division of the National Lacrosse League from 2006 to 2009. On August 11, 2009, the National Lacrosse League confirmed that the franchise would relocate to Orlando, Florida and become the Orlando Titans.
Glenn Clark is the head coach of the New England Black Wolves and the former head coach of the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League. He was also a former NLL player. Clark played in the NLL from 1998-2006 for both the Rock and the Philadelphia Wings. With the Rock, Clark won five NLL Championships. He also appeared in three National Lacrosse League All-Star Games, two with the Rock, and one with the Wings. In 2003, Clark played for Team Canada as they won the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships. In 2011, he became goaltending coach for Team Canada. The 2007 National Lacrosse League season, the 21st in the history of the NLL began on December 30, 2006 and concluded with the championship game on May 12, 2007.
Dan Marohl is a former indoor lacrosse player for the Minnesota Swarm in the National Lacrosse League. Marohl attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he was teammates with former Philadelphia Wings teammate Jeff Ratcliffe.
Athan Iannucci is a professional lacrosse player. He played collegiate lacrosse at Hofstra University. Iannucci plays professional lacrosse for the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League. He was a member of the now defunct St. Regis Indians of the Ontario Lacrosse Association's Senior-A Major Series Lacrosse. He plays in the summer months for the WLA Langley Thunder.
Bill McGlone is a professional lacrosse player from Ridley, Pennsylvania. McGlone plays for the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse and the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League.
Dave Stilley is an American lacrosse player. He has played for the New York Titans, Colorado Mammoth and the Philadelphia Wings in the National Lacrosse League, and also the New Jersey Pride in Major League Lacrosse. Stilley won NLL titles in 1998 and 2001 with the Wings, and in 2006 in Colorado. He was selected in the 11th round in the first ever MLL Collegiate Draft.

The Drexel Dragons men's lacrosse team represents Drexel University in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's lacrosse. Drexel currently competes as a member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) and plays its home games at Vidas Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Drexel made its first NCAA tournament appearance in 2014.
Kurtis Wagar is a retired professional lacrosse goaltender, who spent 9 years in the National Lacrosse League. He began his amateur career with the St. Catharines Athletics of the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League, played collegiality for the Brock Badgers, and was drafted in the third round of the 2006 NLL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Rush. Wagar spent two seasons with the Rush before he was traded along with Brenden Thenhaus to the Boston Blazers in exchange for Cam Bergman. The Blazers subsequently dealt him to the New York Titans for Anthony Kelly. He spent 2009 with the Titans, and moved with them to Orlando in 2010. When the Titans folded, he was taken in the second round of the dispersal draft by the Calgary Roughnecks, but was released before the season and signed with the Philadelphia Wings. Wagar spent two seasons with the Wings before signing with the Buffalo Bandits. He played two seasons with the Bandits before retiring in 2014.
