Mei County or Meixian is a county under the jurisdiction of the prefecture-level city of Baoji, in the west of Shaanxi province, China. It is one of the birthplaces of the Western Zhou culture, during which it was known as Taiguo (邰国). In 794 BC Duke Zhuang of Qin established a town known as Yiyi at its location. During the Eastern Han dynasty it became known as Yinwu. In 2003, 27 Zhou culture bronze ding vessels an other bronzeware were found in Lijia village of Mei County.

Wutong Mountain (Chinese: 梧桐山; pinyin: Wútóng Shān; Jyutping: Ng4tung4 saan1; Hong Kong Hakka: Ng2tung2san1) is a mountain located near the border of Luohu and Yantian in Shenzhen, China. At 943.7m, it is the tallest mountain in Shenzhen. The mountain is also source of the Shenzhen River.

Hengyang County is a county and the 5th most populous county-level division in the Province of Hunan, China; it is under the administration of Hengyang prefecture-level city. Located in the north of Hengyang City and the south east of Hunan province, the county is bordered to the north by Shuangfeng County, to the west by Shaodong County, to the south by the counties of Qidong and Hengdong and the districts of Zhengxiang, Shigu and Zhuhui, to the east by Nanyue District and Hengshan County. <span class="mw-page-title-main">Line 9 (Shenzhen Metro)</span> Metro line in Shenzhen, China

Shenzhen Metro Line 9 opened on 28 October 2016. The line runs East–West from Qianwan to Wenjin. It has 32 stations, including 10 transfer stations and is 36.18 km (22.48 mi) long, running through the city’s districts of Nanshan, Futian and Luohu. Line 9's color is grey.

Daweishan Town is a rural town in Liuyang City, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China. As of the 2015 census, it had a population of 27,400 and an area of 401.7-square-kilometre (155.1 sq mi). It borders Pingjiang County in the north, Paibu Town of Jiangxi in the east, Zhangfang Town in the south, and Dahu Town in the west and southwest.

Shenzhen Bay Park is a seaside urban park spans much of the coastline of Nanshan and Futian districts in Shenzhen, China. Covering an area of 108.07 hectares(267.0518 acres), it is one the most visited urban park in Shenzhen, with an estimated 12 million visitors annually since first opening in 2011.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Nanshan Mountains</span> Mountain range in Shenzhen, China

The Nanshan Mountains or Nanshan are a set of mountains in Shenzhen. The largest of them are the 336-meter (1,102 ft) Dananshan (大南山) and the 150-meter (490 ft) Xiaonanshan (小南山). They are located at the southern tip of Nanshan District, itself named after the mountains. With the Nanshan urban core at its north, Qianhai at its west and Shekou at its southeast, it is amongst the only greenery spaces in the southern half of the district. From the top of Dananshan views can reach west to Nei Lingding Island, east to Futian Central Business District and south to Yuen Long, Hong Kong across Shenzhen Bay.

Zhongshan Park is a public urban park in Nanshan, Shenzhen, China. Built in 1925 and subsequently named after Sun Yat-Sen, the first president of the Republic of China, it is the oldest surviving park in Shenzhen.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Meilin Reservoir</span> Reservoir in Shenzhen, Guangdong

Meilin Reservoir is a reservoir located in Futian District, in southwestern Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, in the southern China. Meilin Reservoir belongs to the first grade water source protection area (一级水源保护区) and is part of Shenzhen's water supply network. It covers a total surface area of 4.26 km2 (1.64 sq mi) and has a storage capacity of some 1,309×10^6 m3 (0.314 cu mi) of water. It is surrounded by the Longding Hill (龙顶山).

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Shenzhen Reservoir</span> Reservoir in Shenzhen, Guangdong

Shenzhen Reservoir is a reservoir located in Luohu District, in southeastern Shenzhen in the southern China. Shenzhen Reservoir is the largest man-made lake in Shenzhen. It belongs to the first grade water source protection area (一级水源保护区) and is part of Shenzhen's water supply network. The reservoir's drainage basin covers about 65 km2 of urban and forested land in southern Guangdong province.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Fenghuang Mountain (Shenzhen)</span> Mountain in Baoan District, Shenzhen, China

Fenghuang Mountain is a low mountain range located east of the mouth of the Pearl River, in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. The ridge forms a crescent shape, and its highest peak reaches an altitude of about 376 meters. It is protected as a forest park of Bao'an District. Partway up the western part of the mountain, at an altitude of 190 meters, there is a Buddhist temple, Fengyan Temple (凤岩古庙), which receives many worshippers on public holidays. At the foot of the mountain to the southwest is Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport as well as some of Shenzhen's main transportation arteries, National Highway 107 and the Guangshen Expressway. To the southeast is Tiegang Reservoir (铁岗水库), a source of drinking water for Bao'an District. On a 300-meter peak at the southern end of the range is a television transmission tower.
