Radio m2o [1] (stylized "radiom2o") is Italy's main [2] 24-hour electronic music radio station, owned by the Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso, ultimately owned by Exor (the Agnelli-family). It was founded in 2002. [3] The station plays dance, EDM, trance, techno, house and sometimes urban music, among various others.

Michele Placido is an Italian actor, director and screenwriter. He is known internationally for portraying police inspector Corrado Cattani on the crime drama television series La piovra (1984–2001). Anna Tatangelo is an Italian pop singer and television personality. At the age of 15, she became the youngest person to win the Newcomer's Award at the prestigious Sanremo Music Festival singing contest. Her repertoire consists mainly of pop music with slight influences of neo-melodic in some of the songs composed for her by singer Gigi D'Alessio, but also in the fifth fusion albums Progetto B. She faced several social issues and current affairs, such as the empowerment of women, homophobia, anorexia and violence against women. Since 2007 she also wrote some songs. "La Passion" is a song co-written and recorded by Italian DJ Gigi D'Agostino. It was released in October 2000 as the sixth single from his 1999 album L'Amour Toujours. It is a remix with some additional melodic variations of the song "Rectangle" by the French musician Jacno, which doesn't originally contain any vocals. Music producer and songwriter Carlo Montagner provides the vocals, which were heavily auto-tuned, as were many songs which followed Cher's trend during the early 2000s. D'Agostino has made various mixes for different albums. The song was a hit in Austria and Belgium, where it became a number 1 single.

Prezioso & Marvin is an Italo dance dance trio group founded in 1999 and made up of brothers Andrea and Giorgio Prezioso in addition to Alessandro Moschini, known as Marvin. Prior to 1999, and starting from 1993, the brothers Andrea and Giorgio Prezioso were known as the duo Prezioso. With Giorgio Prezioso taking a hiatus in 2007 to move to his own project Giorgio Prezioso & Libex, Prezioso & Marvin became a duo. But Giorgio returned to the formation in 2009.
