Macroplaza Mall, formerly Pasadena Town Square Mall and Plaza Paseo Mall, is a regional shopping mall in Pasadena, Texas, southeast of Houston. Developed by Federated Department Stores Realty [4] and attached to an existing Foley's Department store, it opened March 1982. The mall originally featured Joske's, Foley's, and Palais Royal (Houston-based department store) as its anchor stores. [5] At the time it was built, its location was unusual as it was one of only a few malls in the Houston area not near a highway. [6] Joske's was rebranded as Dillard's in 1987 following the purchase of the Joske's chain. Sears was added as the fourth anchor in 1997 in an effort to increase traffic; and allow the mall to be seen as a larger regional mall. [7] [8] All four Anchor Stores Dillard's, Sears, Macy's, and Palais Royal (department store) currently sit vacant.

A little more than a year after opening, mall developer Federated Department Stores Realty sold the mall, and three others, to mall manager JMB Realty Corporation for $112 millionl. [4] In 2002, the mall was purchased from American General by a local developer. [9] Foley's converted to Macy's in 2006, [10] the same year Dillard's closed. [11] Macy's closed on March 27, 2017.

In 2015 the mall was purchased by Guardian Equity, which planned to remodel the common spaces. [12] In 2016 it was renamed Plaza Paseo Mall. [13] [14]

In mid-2018, its name was again changed to Macroplaza Mall, to allude to it being a gathering place like the plaza of the same name to the south in Monterrey, Mexico, and to emphasize a new focus on the area's Mexican American community.

Palais Royal closed in 2020 when its parent company Stage Stores filed for bankruptcy. [15]

On November 9, 2020, it was announced that Sears would close on January 24, 2021, as part of a plan to close seven Sears stores nationwide, leaving the mall with no anchor stores. [16] It was revealed afterward the store would be converted and reopened as the smaller-format Sears Hometown store. [17] , but closed in May 2022. [18]

Parkdale Mall is a mall located in Beaumont, Texas that opened in 1973. The owner of Parkdale Mall is CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. The mall's anchor stores include a Dick's Sporting Goods and Field & Stream combo Store, Dillard's, Five Below, Forever 21, HomeGoods, and JCPenney. Another anchor, Macy's, closed in March 2017. The former Macy's became a combination between the Dick's Sporting Goods and Field & Stream combo store, HomeGoods, and Five Below. KBTV-TV, the Beaumont-Port Arthur Fox affiliate, used to broadcast inside the mall, but now broadcasts at the KFDM studios. In addition, a Tilt Studio location opened in early 2017. Deerbrook Mall is a mall located in the northern Houston suburb of Humble. It is at the major intersection of I-69/US 59 and FM 1960, near George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Deerbrook Mall is classified as a super-regional mall and is the only mall in suburban Northeast Houston. The mall is in the middle of Humble's entertainment complex which includes restaurants, other shopping outlets, movie theaters, as well as communities, which creates heavy traffic and congestion during traffic rush hour and weekend rushes. Deerbrook is owned by Brookfield Properties of Chicago, Illinois. The anchor stores are Dick's Sporting Goods, AMC Theatres, JCPenney, Barnes & Noble, Dillard's, Forever 21, and Macy's. There are 2 vacant anchor store that were once Palais Royal and Sears.

Mainland City Centre, formerly known as Mall of the Mainland, is now a Premier Entertainment & Lifestyle Center located off the Emmett F. Lowry Expressway near Interstate 45 in Texas City, Texas. It was opened in 1991. The mall has 800,000 square feet (74,000 m2) of space. The mall closed in late 2014 due to declining tenancy before its redevelopment began in 2015. Purchased by Jerome Karam, a prevalent Friendswood attorney and developer, specializing in restoring and repurposing large commercial properties – utilizing their existing architecture and bringing new life to the space – this iconic piece of Texas City history has undergone a complete revitalization since joining the JMK5 Holdings portfolio. Over the course of five years, it has become home to Texas Entertainment Xperience (TEX), the largest entertainment center in Texas, the country’s largest World Gym, 33 fully furnished executive suites, Mainland City Suites, education facilities, and 9 award winning restaurants, making up Mainland City Centre’s Restaurant Row, with access to future festival grounds and outdoor entertainment facility. 

Almeda Mall is a shopping mall located in the Southeast Houston neighborhood of Genoa on Interstate 45. The mall opened in 1968. The anchor stores are Macy's, dd's DISCOUNTS, and 365. There is 1 vacant anchor store that was once Burlington.
