Michael Silva is an American baseball coach and former catcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Nicholls Colonels. [1] Silva has been a baseball coach in the South Central United States since 2003, after playing three years of college baseball at Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
Silva began his coaching career in 2003, as an assistant coach at Clarendon College and Bethany College. In 2007, Silva returned to Clarendon to accept his first head coaching position, later moving to Galveston College.
In 2013, Silva accepted his first Division I coaching position at Texas State. After a year scouting for the San Diego Padres in 2016, Silva would go on to coach at Arkansas-Little Rock and Louisiana Tech.
On July 9, 2021, Nicholls announced that Silva would become the program's head coach [2] after Seth Thibodeaux departed to take an assistant coaching position at Louisiana. [3]

Jay Thomas is a former American college football coach, previously serving as the head football coach at Northwestern State University, a position he held from December 2012 until November 2017. He held the same capacity at Nicholls State University from 2004 to 2009. Thomas compiled an overall record of 48–71.
Raymond Ernest Didier was an American football coach, baseball coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at the Southwestern Louisiana Institute—now known as University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1951 to 1956, tallying a mark of 29–27–2. Didier was also the head baseball coach at Southwestern Louisiana from 1948 to 1956, Louisiana State University from 1957 to 1963 and Nicholls State University from 1964 to 1973, amassing a career college baseball record of 458–311–4. Didier served as the athletic director at Nicholls State from 1963 to 1978.

Opened in 1960, the venue has a capacity of 2,100 spectators. The grandstand features chairback seating and a pressbox. The field is named after Raymond E. Didier, head baseball coach from 1964 to 1973 and athletic director from 1963 to 1978. The diamond is named in honor of Ben Meyer.

He then served as the head coach of the Nicholls Colonels (2011–2021).
Austin Claunch is an American college basketball coach. He has served as the head coach at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) since 2024.
Kerrick Jackson is an American baseball coach and former pitcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Missouri Tigers. He played college baseball at St. Louis Community College, Bethune–Cookman and Nebraska from 1994 to 1997. He then served as the head coach of the Southern Jaguars (2018–2020) and the Memphis Tigers (2023). He also served as the President of the MLB Draft League in 2021.
