Pleasantville High School is in the village of Pleasantville within the town of Mount Pleasant in Westchester County, New York, United States. It is a comprehensive high school that provides a broad range of academic and educational programs. A full complement of extra-curricular activities including the performing and visual arts, sports, and academic and service clubs. The high school was ranked 122nd on Newsweek 's 2015 list of top U.S. high schools. [3]

The Pleasantville High School football team has been in existence at least since 1922 and has won one state championship and many county titles. In 2013 the football team won the Section 1 Class B title with a win over Our Lady of Lourdes. The 2016 team won a Regional Championship, defeating New Paltz 56-20 before falling in the State Semi-Finals. The 2017 Panthers football team won the Class B NYSPHSAA Championship defeating Chenango Forks 28–14 at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, NY. This was the first State Championship in program history. Just months later many of the same athletes won their second State Championship in the school year winning the NYSPHSAA Lacrosee Championship by a score of 16–2 over PenYan. In 2019, the Girls varsity soccer team won the state championship after defeating Central Valley Academy in a close 3-2 victory. In 2021, Pleasantville High School's football team made it to the state championship again, but was defeated 21-12 by Maine-Endwell.

The men's basketball team has also won several county championships. The Pleasantville swim team has won the division 1 championship twice, most recently in 2007. The Pleasantville track team has also won the league title two years in a row.

Lowder went on to portray the role of Rick Forrester in the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from January 2007 to January 2011. In 2018, he returned to Days of Our Lives as Rex Brady. Starting in July 2023, Lowder announced via his Instagram page that he will be the new morning co-anchor for CBS affiliate KTVN in Reno, Nevada.

Ocean View High School (OVHS) is a public comprehensive college-prep academy located in Huntington Beach, California. OVHS was established in 1976; their mascot is the Seahawks. Currently, there are approximately 1,350 enrolled students. It is part of the HBUHSD school district, with five other high schools. The school is unique in that it features the only IB Program in the district. The implementation of “embedded tutorial” at the end of each period two years ago resulted in the biggest drop in the total number of D and F grades for students in the district. It features a business academy that has 170 participants, the sole Mandarin Chinese foreign language program in the district, and a college preparation curriculum. In addition, the school boasts the highest senior satisfaction survey results of the district. OVHS is also a two-time California Distinguished School.

The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) is the governing body of interscholastic sports for most public schools in New York outside New York City. The organization was created in 1923, after a predecessor organization called the New York State Public High School Association of Basketball Leagues began in 1921 to bring consistency to eligibility rules and to conduct state tournaments. It consists of 768 member high schools from the state divided into 11 geographic sections. While as its name suggests the vast majority of its members are public, it does include a number of private and Catholic high schools. Most of these are located in Central New York and the Capital District, where parallel sanctioning bodies for private schools do not exist. It is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations as well as the New York State Federation of Secondary School Athletic Associations.

Otis Hill is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a power forward. He is a graduate of Pleasantville High School in New York State, played basketball there and won many awards. At Pleasantville High School, Otis was also a standout in football and a member of the 1991 undefeated season when the team was ranked #1 in the state. Otis went on to play at Syracuse University, and professionally in Belgium, Spain (LEB), Italy, Israel, Poland, and for BC Odesa in the Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague, before retiring in 2009.

Abraham Clark High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grade from the borough of Roselle, in Union County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as part of the Roselle Public Schools. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1932 and is accredited until July 2024. The school is named for Abraham Clark, a Revolutionary War figure and signer of the Declaration of Independence.
