Santa Fe is a ward (consejo popular) in the municipality of Playa in Havana, Cuba.
It is bordered on the north by the Florida Strait, on the east by Jaimanitas, a former fishing village, on the west by Playa Baracoa, and on the south by Bauta in Artemisa Province.
The Bay of Pigs is an inlet of the Gulf of Cazones located on the southern coast of Cuba. By 1910, it was included in Santa Clara Province, and then instead to Las Villas Province by 1961, but in 1976, it was reassigned to Matanzas Province, when the original six provinces of Cuba were re-organized into 14 new Provinces of Cuba.
ARA Santa Fe was an Argentine Balao-class submarine that was lost during the Falklands War. Built by the US during the Second World War, the ship operated in the United States Navy as USS Catfish (SS-339) until 1971 when she was transferred to the Argentine Navy. She served until 1982 when she was captured by the British at South Georgia after being seriously damaged and subsequently sank along a pier, with just her conning tower (sail) visible above the waterline. The submarine was raised, towed out of the bay and scuttled in deep water in 1985.

The Santa Fe National Forest is a protected national forest in northern New Mexico in the Southwestern United States. It was established in 1915 and covers 1,558,452 acres (6,306.83 km2). Elevations range from 5,300 feet (1600 m) to 13,103 feet (4000 m) at the summit of Truchas Peak, located within the Pecos Wilderness. The Jemez, Coyote, and Cuba districts are located in the Jemez Mountains; the Pecos/Las Vegas district is located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains; and the Española district is located in both mountain ranges. In descending order of land area the forest lies in parts of Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Mora, and Los Alamos counties. Forest headquarters are located in the city of Santa Fe.

The area code was created in 2007 in an area code split of area code 505, whose service area was reduced to the Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Farmington, and Gallup regions to provide more telephone numbers to the most populated parts of the state. Area code 575 serves the rest of the state.

The Campeonato Nacional de Boxeo Playa Girón or Torneo Playa Girón is the yearly Cuban amateur boxing championship. A group of boxers represent each Cuban province, with the winner in each weight class being declared the national champion. The province whose boxers obtain the best results wins the tournament as well. The first edition took place in March 1962. Currently, the tournament is held every December and it is recognized by AIBA. The tournament is held at the Playa Girón beach, in Matanzas.

The 2022 CONMEBOL South American Beach Soccer League was the fourth edition of the South American Beach Soccer League, a continental league competition for South American men's national beach soccer teams. The competition returned for the first time since 2019, having been unable to take place in 2020 and 2021 due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in South America.
