Besides playing football as a youth player, Boois was also a boxer. [1]

Managerial career

After working as manager of the Namibia national football team, Boois worked as technical director of the Namibia national football team. [2]

Boois wrote two books about Namibian football. [3]

Personal life

Boois was born in Otjiwarongo, Namibia, and grew up supporting Namibian side Black Africa. [4]

Boois was married to Yvonne Boois and had children. [5] He died in 2020 after suffering from COVID-19. [6]

They are currently in jail, awaiting trial. The allegations are that the Six corruptly acquired $15 million in bribes from the Icelandic fishing company Samherji. Subsequently the revelations were dubbed the Fishrot scandal, and the accused officials the Fishrot Six. The investigations leading to their arrest were conducted by The Namibian, Aljazeera and the Icelandic State Television.

The Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) is a political party in Namibia. It was founded by Panduleni Itula in August 2020. As an independent presidential candidate in the November 2019 election, Itula won the best result of a losing candidates ever in elections in Namibia. At the founding meeting on 2 August 2020 in Windhoek, Itula was elected party president, Brian Kefas Black chairman and Christine Esperanza !Aochamus general secretary.
