Sine FM, sometimes known simply as Sine, is a community radio station based near the Eco-Power Stadium in Doncaster. It broadcasts 24/7 to the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster on 102.6 FM and to the world on its website, Sine FM.com.
Sine FM was Doncaster's first FM licensed community radio station and is now Doncaster's only licensed radio station, covering central Doncaster and the surrounding areas.
Sine FM was established in early 2007 by Higher Rhythm. It ran several trial broadcasts during 2007 and 2008 and its official 24/7 launch was in September 2009.
The station airs a wide range of programming based on a talk and music format.
It is an official media partner of local football club Doncaster Rovers and provides support for the club's podcasts.
The station holds the British record for the longest marathon radio show by a DJ team. A record 72 hours in length. It also held the world record for the longest marathon radio show by a DJ team for a short period in 2016. [1]
The station was awarded its community radio licence from Ofcom in December 2007. [2]
In October 2016, Sine FM moved from its old location at the Higher Rhythm recording studios on Nether Hall Road to its new location within the building of the XP School on Middle Bank next to the Keepmoat Stadium. [3]
Cam FM is a student-run radio station at the University of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University. The station broadcasts online and has an FM frequency of 97.2 MHz. The station opened studios at Anglia Ruskin University and Fitzwilliam College and started broadcasting in 2012 from these locations after having spent its first 32 years located in Churchill College. Cam FM once held the world record for the longest team broadcast marathon, at 76 hours, and following the significant technical overhaul as a result of the two new studios in 2012, provided the first-ever broadcast media coverage of the Oxford vs Cambridge Women's Boat Race from Dorney Lake, as well as live outside broadcasts from Newmarket Races and the Varsity Ski Trip.

Greatest Hits Radio South Yorkshire is an Independent Local Radio station serving Doncaster in South Yorkshire and the Bassetlaw district of north Nottinghamshire. The station, originally known as Trax FM, was folded into Greatest Hits Radio Yorkshire, as part of a rebrand, on 1 September 2020.
102.2 Jazz FM was an Independent Local Radio for London run by GMG Radio. The station was based in and broadcast from Castlereagh Street in London. The station experimented with its core playlist over its fifteen-year history, incorporating smooth jazz, mainstream jazz, soul, jazz fusion, acid jazz, blues and rhythm and blues. In 1994, the station changed its name to JFM to encourage more listeners who were put off by the 'Jazz' in the station's name. Richard Wheatly was appointed in 1995 to turn the station around when there was only three months' money left to run the station. He made a number of sweeping changes to the playlist, selling a sister station and changing the name back to Jazz FM, as well as starting up a record label and spin-off business deals and opportunities which helped Jazz FM swing into the black and make a profit in 2001.
DemonFM is a student radio station based at De Montfort University in Leicester, England. The station broadcasts online during term time. It was established in 1995 by the Communications Officer of the time, Rob Martin. The first licensed broadcast was on 106.4 FM from 29 September 1995 to 26 October 1995 and the second broadcast was on 106.2 FM from 22 April 1996 to 19 May 1996. DemonFM continued to broadcast on Restricted Service Licences until 2008 with the last of the RSL broadcasts taking place on 97.5FM. DemonFM finished their 26th and final RSL on 30 November 2008.
