Stephens, Missouri

Stephens is an unincorporated community in northwest Callaway County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1] The community is one mile east of Cedar Creek and the Callaway-Boone county line. Lindbergh on I-70 lies 1.5 miles to the south. [2]

History

The community had a country store called Stephens Store. [3] The store had the name of its owner, T. L. Stephens. [4] A post office called Stephens Store was established in 1862, the name was changed to Stephens in 1912, and the post office closed in 1957. [5]

Boydsville is an unincorporated community in western Callaway County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is in the Mark Twain National Forest 1.5 miles east of Cedar Creek and Fulton is approximately eight miles to the east-northeast.

Trask is an unincorporated community in northern Howell County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is located on Missouri Route V, approximately one mile south of U.S. Route 60 between Willow Springs and Mountain View.
