Sweden national rugby sevens team

The Sweden national rugby sevens team is a minor national sevens side. Sweden won the 2017 Rugby Europe Sevens Trophy to qualify for the 2018 Grand Prix Sevens.

Sweden competed in the qualifying rounds of the 1993 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Catania, Sicily where they lost to Taiwan and failed to qualify.

Rugby union in Latvia is a minor but growing sport. During the pre-independence period, Latvia was not a centre for the game but nonetheless  Latvia managed to qualify for the 1993 Rugby World Cup Sevens - which may be seen as the highest point it has yet reached.

Sweden women's national sevens team represents Sweden in Rugby sevens. They competed at the 2019 Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Kazan, Russia. They finished ninth overall and did not qualify for Tokyo 2020. Sweden placed third at the 2021 Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Trophy in Zagreb, Croatia.

The Barbados national rugby sevens team is a minor national sevens side. They competed at the Commonwealth Sevens in 2014 replacing Nigeria who withdrew despite qualifying. Barbados also participated in the World Series core team qualifiers at the 2014 Hong Kong Sevens.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Great Britain women's national rugby sevens team</span> Rugby team


The Great Britain national rugby sevens team is the women's Olympic representative team of Great Britain at the rugby sevens tournament at the Summer Olympic Games. The team played their first competitive match at the 2016 Summer Olympics after England finished in an Olympic qualifying place at the World Rugby Women's Sevens Series.
