The Voice UK is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The eighth series began airing on 5 January 2019 and concluded on 6 April 2019, presented by Emma Willis on ITV. will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and Olly Murs returned for their eighth, third, seventh and second series, respectively.
On 6 April 2019, Molly Hocking was announced the winner of the season, marking the Olly Murs' first win as coach.
On 1 November 2018, it was announced that Vick Hope (last series' backstage reporter and The V Room host) would be replaced by AJ Odudu. [1]
On 9 March 2019, the guest mentors for the knockout round were announced to be: James Arthur to help Sir Tom Jones, Nicole Scherzinger to help will.i.am, Olly Alexander (of Years & Years) to help Jennifer Hudson and Anne-Marie to help Olly Murs. [2]

A new voting system called Lifeline vote was introduced this year, which would save one contestant from the 16 eliminated acts based on the public's vote. The act who was saved by lifeline vote would be revealed at the beginning of the live Semi-final. [4]

With the eliminations of Emmanuel Smith, Moya, NXTGEN and Nicole Dennis, will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson no longer have any artists remaining on their teams. This is the first time in all eight seasons that will.i.am does not have an artist represented in the final. This is also the first time in the show's history that only two coaches are represented in the final. With the advancements of Bethzienna Williams and Jimmy Balito, this is the first time that a stolen artist, who is representing the finals, did not originally earn a chair turn by their coach in the blind auditions.

The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The eighth series aired on ITV on 20 August 2011 and ended on 11 December 2011. Dermot O'Leary hosted the main show on ITV, while Caroline Flack and series 6 runner-up Olly Murs co-presented the spin-off show The Xtra Factor on ITV2. Louis Walsh returned to the judging panel and was joined by Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa. Barlow, Rowland, Tulisa joined the panel replacing judges, Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole. Series 5 winner Alexandra Burke served as a guest judge for week 4 of the live shows due to Rowland having a throat infection.
The Voice UK is a British singing competition television series. Created by John de Mol, it premiered on BBC One during the spring television cycle on 24 March 2012. Based on the original The Voice of Holland, and part of The Voice franchise, it has aired twelve series and aims to find currently unsigned singing talent contested by aspiring singers, drawn from public auditions. Presented by Emma Willis since 2014, it was previously presented by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates from 2012 to 2013 and Marvin Humes from 2014 to 2016. The winners receive a recording contract with Universal Music Group. The Voice UK is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The second series was hosted by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates on BBC One and started on 30 March 2013. On 13 November 2012, it was confirmed that all four coaches from last year would return.
The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The twelfth series began airing on ITV on 29 August 2015 and ended on 13 December 2015. The judges were Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who returned for their respective ninth and fifth series as judges, series 9 guest judge and former The Voice UK coach Rita Ora, and BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, with Grimshaw and Ora replacing Louis Walsh, the only judge who had been on the show from its inception in 2004, and Mel B. It was presented by Caroline Flack and Olly Murs, who had both previously co-presented spin-off show The Xtra Factor on ITV2 and replaced Dermot O'Leary, who left after eight series. Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom presented The Xtra Factor, replacing Sarah-Jane Crawford. Louisa Johnson was announced as the winner on 13 December 2015, making Ora the winning mentor.
The Voice UK is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The fourth series started on 10 January 2015. Emma Willis and Marvin Humes return as hosts, alongside coaches will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, and Ricky Wilson. Kylie Minogue did not return due to touring commitments and was replaced by Rita Ora. On 4 April 2015, Stevie McCrorie was announced the winner of the season making him the first winner to have received an all-chair turn in the blind auditions. This also marks Ricky Wilson's first win as coach.

Rita Ora did not appear in this series of the show after joining The X Factor and was replaced by Boy George. In addition, Sir Tom Jones did not return and was replaced by Paloma Faith, leaving will.i.am as the only coach remaining from the inaugural series.

The winners received a monetary prize and a family holiday.

The sixth series began airing on 7 January 2017, with Emma Willis hosting the main show, and Cel Spellman presenting online spin-off show The V Room. It is the first series to air on ITV since its move from BBC One. will.i.am returned for his sixth series as a coach, Sir Tom Jones also returned to the show after a series hiatus, replacing Paloma Faith, and Jennifer Hudson and Gavin Rossdale joined as new coaches on the show, replacing Boy George and Ricky Wilson. Mo Adeniran won the competition, marking Jennifer Hudson's first and only win as a coach. Additionally, JHud became the first new coach to win on her first attempt, as well as, the first female coach to win a series of the show.
Let It Shine was a British reality television music competition to find young men to star in The Band, a new stage musical featuring the songs of Take That. It aired in January and February 2017 on BBC One. In 2018, the BBC announced that Let It Shine has been cancelled after one series.
The Voice Kids is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The first series began airing on 10 June 2017, being broadcast on a weekly basis on ITV. It is hosted by Emma Willis and the coaches are will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones. In the premiere series, Jess Folley won the competition and Pixie Lott was the winning coach.
