Ídolos Brazil 5, also taglined as Ídolos 2010 was the fifth season of Brazilian reality interactive talent show Ídolos and third season aired on Rede Record. It premiered on Thursday, June 10, 2010, with a 2-hour special premiere. [1]
Rodrigo Faro returned as a host from last year and the judging panel again consists of Luís Calainho, Paula Lima and Marco Camargo.
Israel Lucero won the competition with Tom Black as the first runner-up and Nise Palhares finishing third.
Judges Luis Calainho and Paula Lima left the show after this season ended, although only Calainho's departure was announced in advance.

The first day of Theater Week featured the eighty-three contestants from the auditions round. Divided into groups, the contestants go up on stage and individually sing a song a capella. Fifty-two advanced.
The fifty-two remaining contestants were divided in groups of four or three. They had to pick a song and sing accompanied by a soundtrack. Thirty advanced.
The thirty remaining contestants had to choose a music and singing accompanied by a band and can also play an instrument. In the end, the judges take the contestants individually and tell them if they made the final fifteen.
The fifteen semi-finalists were officially announced on July 22, 2010. [3]

The fifteen semi-finalists performed live on July 27, 2010, with results show on the following episode which aired on July 29, 2010. The five singers with the highest percentage of the public vote were automatically qualified for the finals. Later on night, the judges decided which five out of the remaining ten semi-finalists completed the Top 10.

Ídolos was a Brazilian reality television competition to find new solo singing talent. Part of the Idol franchise, it was created by Simon Fuller as a spin-off from the British show Pop Idol, of which two series were broadcast between 2001 and 2003.
No Limite is the Brazilian version of the international Survivor reality competition television franchise, itself derived from the Swedish television series Expedition Robinson created by Charlie Parsons which premiered in 1997. The series premiered on Sunday, July 23, 2000, on TV Globo and was initially hosted by journalist Zeca Camargo.

A Quinta is the third season of the Portuguese version of the reality show The Farm, which was broadcast by TVI. The last two seasons were known as Quinta das Celebridades and ran between 2004 and 2005. The format came back 10 years after, however this time it'll have a mix of celebrities and anonymous contestants. Teresa Guilherme will be the host, unlike last two seasons which had Júlia Pinheiro as the host. The applications officially opened on July 28. Applications were supposed to end on August 31, however probably due to a low number of applications it was postponed to September 15, when they finally ended. After some speculations that the season would premiere on the night of the legislative election, it was officially confirmed that it would premiere the day before, on October 3. There will be a 24-hour channel, however this time it'll be exclusive of NOS. The final prize money for the winner is €20,000.
