Zameen, alternatively spelled Zamin, is an Urdu novel by Pakistani novelist and short story writer Khadija Mastoor. The novel was published posthumously by Idara-e-Farogh-e-Urdu in 1983. Daisy Rockwell, PhD, translated it into English and released it in July 2019 under the title A Promised Land. Zameen depicts the economic and political upheaval that entailed the partition of British India. It begins at the final setting of Mastoor's first novel Aangan – the Walton refugee camp in Lahore. Consequently, it is sometimes considered an extension of Aangan, however, Rockwell has clarified that it is not a narrative sequel, rather a philosophical and thematic follow-up. It is considered a political allegory and a women-centric historical account of Pakistan's independence.
Birjees Farooqui is a Pakistani actress. She is known for her roles in dramas Tumhare Hain, Bandish, Kasa-e-Dil, Muqaddar and Darr Khuda Say.
Umro Ayyar or Amar Ayyar is a fictional character, an ayyār, in Tilism-e-Hoshruba, an Urdu recension of the Islamic epic Hamzanama. He was first written about during the time of Mughal Emperor Akbar and many stories and novels have been written about him since.
Ghabrana Nahi Hai is a 2022 Pakistani action comedy film directed by Saqib Khan, who also wrote it with Mohsin Ali. Produced by Jamil Baig under JB Films and Hassan Zia under Mastermind Production, it stars Saba Qamar and Zahid Ahmed. It was released on Eid al-Fitr, 3 May 2022, by Geo Films.
Zindeeq is the fifth novel by Urdu novelist Rahman Abbas, the winner of the Sahitya Akademi Award for his fourth novel, Rohzin in 2018. Zindeeq was published in November 2021 by Arshia Publication, New Delhi. Rahman has received an international grant to study Nazism in Germany and find out how the politics in Pakistan and India will affect its minorities. The novel research grant was awarded by 'Crossing Borders' programme, jointly held by the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Literarisches Colloquium, Berlin as reported by LCB & TOI.

Chakkar is a 2018 Pakistani television drama series written by Rukhsana Nigar that premiered on 12 December 2018 on Bol Entertainment, directed by Kanwal Khoosat. It stars Resham as a middle-aged girl who becomes bitter due to her stepmother and wants love and affection by marrying. Zain Afzal, Aamna Malick and Faryal Gohar played pivotal roles.
Teri Rah Mein is a Pakistani drama series that premiered on ARY Digital on 3 January in 2022. Directed by Khurram Walter and written by Nadia Ahmed, it is a production of iDream Entertainment. It has Zainab Shabbir, Shazeal Shoukat, Usama Khan and Shahroz Sabzwari in lead roles.
Shazeal Shoukat is a Pakistani actress and model. She is known for her roles in dramas Teri Rah Mein, Mann Aangan, Benaam, Adawat and Samjhota.
