Themba Sekowe, known professionally as DJ Maphorisa, is a South African DJ, record producer, singer, and songwriter. Jabulani Hadebe, known professionally as Sjava, is a South African singer, rapper, and actor. He began his acting career in 2005, starring in several drama series and films including uGugu no Andile (2009). He then rose to prominence on the drama series Zone 14, where he starred for three consecutive seasons, Isibaya and the second season of Ehostela. Sjava ventured into the music industry and signed to record label Ambitiouz Entertainment. He gained mainstream popularity after he was featured on Miss Pru's acclaimed song "Ameni" in 2015.

Candy Tsa MandebeleMokwena is a South African singer, songwriter, actress. Born and raised in Limpopo, she began singing in her mother's community traditional group, Sekgapa, at the age of 14. Mandebele began her career in 1993 as a songwriter, prior to joining group Shaka Bundu Girls in 1995.

Ntokozo Zakwe is a South African Rapper born in KwaMashu, KwaZulu-Natal.

Amanda Faku is a South African singer, performer and songwriter. Born and raised in the township of eZinyoka, Gqeberha. Faku rose to fame as a contestant on The Voice SA season 2 in 2017, prior getting recognition in the music industry.

The 2020 South African Hip Hop Awards took place on December 12, 2020 and were the 9th edition of the South African Hip Hop Awards. The ceremony celebrates achievements in entertainment and honors music. Themed "The New World Order", the theme idea came from the hard lockdown experience which resulted in people being confined at their homes, glued to their TV sets, computers and being on social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram on their phones. It was held virtually due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.

The Annual 6th Mzansi Kwaito and House Music Awards is the 6th edition of Mzansi Kwaito and House Music Awards. It was held at Sun City Super Bowl, North West.

MFR Souls is an South African Amapiano music duo founded in 2012 by Tumelo Nedondwe and Tumelo Mabe, both of whom are DJ and music producers from Katlehong in the East Rand of Johannesburg. Their hit single "Love You Tonight" was commercial success certified platinum in South Africa.

Qwabe Twins is a South African Afro-pop duo formed in KwaZulu-Natal consisting of identical twins Virginia and Viggy Qwabe. They were contestant on season 15 of the Idols South Africa.
