John H. Outland

John Henry Outland was an American football player and coach. He played football at Penn College in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the University of Kansas, and the University of Pennsylvania. He was twice named an All-American while playing for the Penn Quakers, in 1897 as a tackle and in 1898 as a halfback. After playing, Outland coached at Franklin & Marshall College in 1900, the University of Kansas in 1901, and Washburn University from 1904 to 1905, compiling a career college football record of 21–15–2. He is the namesake of the Outland Trophy, an annual award established in 1946 and given to the best interior lineman in college football. Outland was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a player in 2001.

Mikael Dorsin Swedish footballer

Mikael Frank Dorsin is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a defender. Starting his career with Djurgårdens IF in the late 1990s, he went on to represent RC Strasbourg, Rosenborg, and CFR Cluj before retiring from professional football in 2016. A full international between 2001 and 2010, he won 16 caps for the Sweden national team and was a part of their UEFA Euro 2008 squad.

Trinity Tigers

The Trinity Tigers is the nickname for the sports teams of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. They participate in the NCAA's Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). The school mascot is LeeRoy, a Bengal tiger. In the 1950s, LeeRoy was an actual tiger who was brought to sporting events, but today LeeRoy is portrayed by a student wearing a tiger suit. Early in its history, the school participated in Division I/II athletics, but by 1991 the entire program made the move to Division III, at which time it joined the SCAC.

Herman G. Steiner

Herman G. Steiner was an American football, baseball, and track coach, athletic trainer, and college athletics administrator. He served as the head coach of the Duke Blue Devils football program during the 1922 college football season. Between 1921 and 1927, he was also the Assistant Director of Physical Education at Duke University and served stints as the school's head baseball coach, head track coach, trainer, and director of intramural athletics.

The 1872 college football season is considered to be the third season ever played of intercollegiate football competition, due to no season taking place in 1871. Much like in the first and second years, 1869 and 1870, the rules were still considered in flux, and were decided on in a game-to-game basis. However, the rules used likely did not resemble anything that a modern football observer would recognize, being that of a mix of soccer and rugby.

The Trinity College Bantams are the varsity and club athletic teams of Trinity College, a selective liberal arts college located in Hartford, Connecticut. Trinity's varsity teams compete in the New England Small College Athletic Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. The College offers 27 varsity teams, plus club sports, intramural sports.

The 1910 Ole Miss Rebels football team represented the University of Mississippi during the 1910 college football season. Earl Kinnebrew was All-Southern.

The 1935 Cupa României Final was the second final of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. It was disputed between Ripensia Timişoara and CFR București, and was won by CFR București after a game with 11 goals in extra time. It was the first cup trophy won by the feroviar team.

CFR Arad was a football club based in Arad, Romania, founded in 1921.

The 1940 Rollins Tars football team represented Rollins College during the 1940 college football season, and won the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SIAA) title. The Tars were disappointed the Florida Gators did not meet a challenge for a state championship.

The Dallas Hilltoppers represented the University of Dallas in Dallas in the sport of college football. Hall of famer Joe Utay coached the team to a 7–1–1 record in 1909, and in 1915 the team claims an independent Southwestern championship.

2003 Wofford Terriers football team American college football season

The 2003 Wofford Terriers football team represented Wofford College during the 2003 NCAA Division I-AA football season. The team won the Southern Conference.

The 1880 Brown Bears football team represented Brown University in the 1880 college football season. The team lost its first game with Yale, the only match of the season.

The 1933 New Mexico Lobos football team represented the University of New Mexico in the Border Conference during the 1933 college football season. In their third and final season under head coach Chuck Riley, the Lobos compiled a 3–4–1 record, finished fourth in the conference, and were outscored by a total of 108 to 92. Jack Walton was the team captain.

The 1918 Georgia Eleventh Cavalry football team represented the 11th Cavalry of Fort Oglethorpe in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia during the 1918 college football season. In their only known contest, the Cavalry team lost 123–0 to defending national champion Georgia Tech, which was riding a 30-game unbeaten streak.

The 1934 Trinity Hilltoppers football team represented the Trinity College during the 1934 college football season. In its third season under head coach Dan Jessee, the team compiled a perfect 7–0 record and outscored opponents by a total of 187 to 13.
