The 1914 DEI Championship season (known as the Koloniale-Tentoonstellings-Beker for organisation reasons) was the inaugural season of the Dutch East Indies DEI Championship football competition since its establishment in 1914. [1]

Demak is a regency located in the Indonesian province of Central Java, on the northern coast of the island. Dutch East Indies city Championship was a national amateur football competition in Indonesia held between 1914 and 1930 before the formation of Perserikatan, organized by the PSSI, the Indonesian football federation. The tournament originally featured only the four main cities but by 1930 included many cities from across the island. <span class="mw-page-title-main">Kusumah Atmaja</span> Indonesian judge and national hero (1898 – 1952)

Sulaiman Effendi Kusumah Atmaja was an Indonesian judge and national hero who served as the first chief justice of the Supreme Court of Indonesia from August 1945 until August 1952. He was born to a noble ethnic-Sundanese family in Purwakarta, and obtained a law diploma from the Rechtschool in 1913. In 1919, he worked as a court clerk in Bandung, before leaving that job to continue his legal education at Leiden University. After graduating from Leiden in 1922, he returned to the East Indies, and became a judge in Batavia and later Indramayu.

N.V. Nederlandsch-Indische Spoorweg Maatschappij, abbreviated to NIS, NISM or N.V. NISM was a private-owned railways company in charge of rail transport in Java, Dutch East Indies. The company's headquarters were in Semarang, Central Java. The company started its maiden route from Semarang to Vorstenlanden and in 1873 they also built their line to the Willem I Railway Station of Ambarawa–Kedungjati and Batavia–Buitenzorg lines. Later the network expanded to Bandung and Surabaya. It was absorbed into the present Kereta Api Indonesia after Indonesian independence in 1945. It was the main competitor to Staatsspoorwegen as state-owned railway company and established on April 6, 1875.
