The Top10, known as the Peroni Top10 for sponsorship reasons, and formerly Top 12, is Italy's top level professional men's rugby union competition. The Top 10 is run by Federazione Italiana Rugby (FIR) and is contested by 10 teams as of the 2019–2020 season, following the Italian federation's decision to name Peroni as the official partner of the Top10 competition.

Census attended Rosebank Primary School and Waitākere College and Avondale college in Auckland before moving to Europe in 2005, winning 3x French Top 14 championships [2006 Biarritz 2011, 2012 Toulouse] and Heineken cup championship in 2010 also with Toulouse. In 2010 he was a replacement for the final as Toulouse won the Heineken Cup. In 2015 he was selected for Manu Samoa.

The 1993 France rugby union tour of South Africa was a series of eight matches played by the France national rugby union team in South Africa in June and July 1993. The French team won four matches, drew two and lost two. They won their two match international series against the South Africa national rugby union team, drawing the first game and winning the second for a one-nil series victory. The tour was marred by a serious facial injury suffered by the captain, Jean-François Tordo, who was raked by Garry Pagel in the match against Western Province. Tordo required 50 stitches and plastic surgery and took no further part in the tour.
