The 1969–70 Alpha Ethniki was the 34th season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 21 September 1969 and ended on 10 June 1970. Panathinaikos won their second consecutive and tenth Greek title.

The 2010–11 Football League is the second division of the Greek professional football system and the first season under the name Football League after previously being known as Beta Ethniki. Its regular season began on 12 September 2010 and ended on 15 May 2011; the promotion play-offs, originally scheduled to take place immediately afterwards, were postponed to late July 2011 in wake of the Koriopolis scandal.
The 1980–81 Beta Ethniki season was 22nd edition of second tier nationwide championship of Greece. Forty teams participated in the league, divided in two groups, the South and the North Group. Iraklis was named champion of the North Group and got promoted to the Alpha Ethniki. In the South Group Egaleo and Rodos tied and a play-off match, that found Rodos victorious by a 1-0 scoreline, decided the team that was named champion of the South Group and got promoted to the Alpha Ethniki.

The 2000–01 Gamma Ethniki was the 18th season since the official establishment of the third tier of Greek football in 1983. Patraikos was crowned champion, thus winning promotion to Beta Ethniki. Chalkidona-Near East also won promotion after a winning a promotion play-off in which was participated with Atromitos and Ethnikos Piraeus.
The 1993–94 Gamma Ethniki was the 11th season since the official establishment of the third tier of Greek football in 1983. Paniliakos and Panserraikos were crowned champions in Southern and Northern Group respectively, thus winning promotion to Beta Ethniki. Ialysos Rodos and Anagennisi Kolindros also won promotion as a runners-up of the groups.
