The 1965 World Table Tennis Championships men's doubles was the 28th edition of the men's doubles championship. [1] [2] Chuang Tse-Tung and Hsu Yin-Sheng won the title after defeating Chang Shih-Lin and Wang Chih-Liang in the final by three sets to nil. [3]

Richard Bergmann was an Austrian and British international table tennis player. Johnny Leach British table tennis player

John Alfred Leach MBE was a British table tennis player, coach, and author. He began competing at a relatively old age, 17, before serving in World War II. In 1953, he was part of the team that won Great Britain's first, and as of 2014 only, team World Championship. He also won 13 bronze and silver World championship medals between 1947 and 1955. As of 2014, Leach is just one of 11 players from any country to win two singles championships.

Zoltán Berczik was a Hungarian table tennis player. In the late fifties he was ranked among the best European table tennis players and won, with his athletic play, the first two titles at the Table Tennis European Championships.
