The 1966 Brabantse Pijl was the 6th edition of the Brabantse Pijl cycle race and was held on 7 April 1966. The race started and finished in Brussels. [2] The race was won by Jan Janssen.

The Brabantse Pijl is a Flanders Classics road bicycle race held annually in Flemish Brabant and in Walloon Brabant, Belgium. Since 2005, the race has been organised as a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour.

Jan Janssen Dutch former professional cyclist

Johannes Adrianus "Jan" Janssen is a Dutch former professional cyclist (1962–1972). He was world champion and winner of the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España. He was the first Dutch rider to win the Tour de France and the first to win the Vuelta a España. He rode the Tour de France eight times and finished all but the first time. He won seven stages and wore the yellow jersey for two days. He was easily spotted in the peloton because of his blond hair and his glasses.
