The 1975 season of the Montserrat Championship was the first season of top flight association football competition in Montserrat. [1] Police won the championship. [1]
Montserrat is a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean. It is part of the Leeward Islands, the northern portion of the Lesser Antilles chain of the West Indies. Montserrat is about 16 km (10 mi) long and 11 km (7 mi) wide, with roughly 40 km (25 mi) of coastline. It is nicknamed "The Emerald Isle of the Caribbean" both for its resemblance to coastal Ireland and for the Irish ancestry of many of its inhabitants. Montserrat is the only non-fully sovereign full member of the Caribbean Community and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States.

From the final league table it would appear that the last round of matches for the top two teams and the last two rounds of matches for the bottom two teams were not played once it was established that no results from these games could affect the final league standings.

The championship was won by the Police, following a 1–1 draw against Ideal in what was essentially a title decider in the final round of matches. This was their fifth title out of the six completed seasons to date.
