The 1985 Black & Decker Indoor Championships, also known as the Melbourne Indoor Championships, was an Association of Tennis Professionals men's tournament played on indoor carpet courts at the Festival Hall in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It was the fifth and last edition of the tournament, which was part of the 1985 Grand Prix tennis circuit, and was held from 21 October until 27 October 1985. Sixth-seeded Marty Davis won the singles title.

Matt Mitchell the defending champion of the Melbourne Indoor title lost in the second round to Broderick Dyke. Dyke lost in the quarter finals to the eventual champion, Marty Davis, who beat Paul Annacone in the final, 6–4, 6–4

Mark Edmondson and Kim Warwick won in the final 6–4, 6–4 against Nelson Aerts and Tomm Warneke.

Johan Kriek was the defending champion.

Andrew Castle and Nduka Odizor were the defending champions, but did not participate together this year. Castle partnered Roger Smith, losingin the quarterfinals. Odizor partnered Cyril Suk, losing in the quarterfinals.
