Lindsay Davenport defeated Steffi Graf in the final, 6–4, 7–5 to win the ladies' singles tennis title at the 1999 Wimbledon Championships. This was the final Grand Slam tournament in which Graf appeared. Davenport did not drop a set throughout the entire tournament. Jana Novotná was the defending champion but lost in the quarterfinals to Davenport.
Venus Williams defeated the defending champion Lindsay Davenport in the final, 6–3, 7–6(7–3) to win the ladies' singles tennis title at the 2000 Wimbledon Championships. It was her first major singles title. Williams lost only one set during the entire tournament, to Martina Hingis in the quarterfinals.
Venus Williams successfully defended her title, defeating Justine Henin in the final, 6–1, 3–6, 6–0 to win the ladies' singles tennis title at the 2001 Wimbledon Championships.
Serena Williams defeated the two-time defending champion, her sister Venus Williams, in the final, 7–6(7–4), 6–3 to win the ladies' singles tennis title at the 2002 Wimbledon Championships. It was her first Wimbledon title, and the second step in completing her first "Serena Slam". She also claimed the WTA world No. 1 singles ranking for the first time after winning this tournament. She achieved the 'Channel Slam', a feat which she accomplished again in 2015. Serena did not lose a set during the tournament.
Fourth-seeded Arantxa Sánchez Vicario won the title, defeating Monica Seles in the final 7–6(7–5), 0–6, 6–2, to win the women's singles tennis title at the 1998 French Open. This marked the last time Sánchez Vicario defeated Seles at any tournament. It was also the last major final in which either Sánchez Vicario or Seles played.
Jana Novotná defeated Nathalie Tauziat in the final, 6–4, 7–6(7–2) to win the ladies' singles tennis title at the 1998 Wimbledon Championships. This was Novotná's only win in a Wimbledon final on her third attempt. This would be the last time a Czech player would win Wimbledon until Petra Kvitová won in 2011. Martina Hingis was the defending champion but lost in the semifinals to Novotná, in a rematch of the previous year's final.
Lisa Raymond and Rennae Stubbs were the defending champions, but lost in the quarterfinals to Anna Kournikova and Chanda Rubin.
Serena and Venus Williams defeated Julie Halard-Decugis and Ai Sugiyama in the final, 6-3, 6-2 to win the ladies' doubles tennis title at the 2000 Wimbledon Championships. They became the first pair of sisters to win the title. It was their third major title in doubles, and the third component in an eventual career Golden Slam in doubles. The Williams sisters had only played three events thus far into the season, and only entered the draw via a wildcard.
Amanda Coetzer won in the final 2–6, 6–1, 6–2 against Elena Dementieva.
Jana Novotná and Arantxa Sánchez Vicario were the defending champions but lost in the quarterfinals to Martina Hingis and Helena Suková.
Natalia Medvedeva and Natasha Zvereva defeated Kim Il-soon and Paulette Moreno in the final, 6–2, 5–7, 6–0 to win the girls' doubles tennis title at the 1987 Wimbledon Championships.
Andrea Strnadová defeated Meredith McGrath in the final, 6–2, 6–3 to win the girls' singles tennis title at the 1989 Wimbledon Championships.
