The 1997 Bayern Rundfahrt was the 18th edition of the Bayern Rundfahrt cycle race and was held on 27 May to 1 June 1997. The race started in Marktoberdorf and finished in Pfarrkirchen. [2] [3] The race was won by Christian Henn.

Hartmut Bölts is a German former racing cyclist. In 1985 he won the Hessen-Rundfahrt. He won the German National Road Race in 1988. He also competed in the team time trial event at the 1984 Summer Olympics. He is the brother of fellow former cyclist Udo Bölts.

The 2015 Bayern Rundfahrt was the 36th edition of the Bayern Rundfahrt, an annual cycling road race. It was held between 13 and 17 May, starting in Regensburg and ending in Nürnberg. The race consisted of five stages, the fourth being an individual time trial.
