Athlitiki Enosi Lemesou ' commonly known as AEL, is a Cypriot sports club based in the city of Limassol, most famous for its football team.

The 1990–91 Alpha Ethniki was the 55th season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 16 September 1990 and ended on 2 June 1991. Panathinaikos won their second consecutive and 16th Greek title.

The 1987–88 Alpha Ethniki was the 52nd season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 6 September 1987 and ended on 15 May 1988. AEL won their first Greek title in its history. The season was notable as the only season where neither Panathinaikos or Olympiacos, by far the most successful and dominant clubs, finished in the top four.

The 1986–87 Alpha Ethniki was the 51st season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 7 September 1986 and ended on 7 June 1987. Olympiacos won their 25th Greek title and their first one in four years. The championship was marked by the strike declared by 12 teams in the last three games of the championship. As a result, most of the teams did not come to the last matches of the championship and were punished by deducting 6 points. The only ones who came and were not punished were Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, OFI and Panionios, which took the first four places in the standings.

Panserraikos F.C. Football club

Panserraikos Football Club, the All-Serres Football Club, is a Greek football club based in Serres in Central Macedonia, Greece. Panserraikos is one of the most important and well-supported clubs in northern Greece and had a near-continuous presence in the First Division in the 1960s and 70s.

The 1979–80 Alpha Ethniki was the 44th season of the highest football league of Greece. From that season Alpha Ethniki became the professional league. The season began on 30 September 1979 and ended on 25 May 1980 with the play-off matches. Olympiacos won their 21st Greek title and their first one in five years.

The 2008–09 Cypriot First Division was the seventy season of top-tier football on Cyprus. It started on 30 August 2008 and ended on 10 May 2009. The defending champions were Anorthosis.

The 1956–57 Panhellenic Championship was the 21st season of the highest football league of Greece and one of the most interesting championships in the 50s and also one of the most discussed due to the punishment of Ethnikos Piraeus from the HFF. Olympiacos won their 13th championship after an interesting race with Panathinaikos which ended in a tie and therefore the title was decided by a play-off round in which Olympiacos won. Compared to the previous season, the teams that participated in the final phase of the championship increased by 4 and resulted as follows:

The 2000–01 Gamma Ethniki was the 18th season since the official establishment of the third tier of Greek football in 1983. Patraikos was crowned champion, thus winning promotion to Beta Ethniki. Chalkidona-Near East also won promotion after a winning a promotion play-off in which was participated with Atromitos and Ethnikos Piraeus.

The 1990–91 season was PAOK Football Club's 64th in existence and the club's 32nd consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football. The team entered the Greek Football Cup in first round and faced Sevilla in the UEFA Cup.
