Premise

Heroic poodle Freddy Lupin, who thinks he has everything it takes to lead his werewolf pack, but earning the respect of his packmates proves to be a challenge. If only he were more... wolfish.

But when a wayward wish transforms him into a werewolf and deposits a mischievous Moon spirit on Earth, Freddy must restore the cosmic order before it is too late!

With Batty and his dog pals along for the ride, Freddy must seek out a dangerous sorceress with a grudge against the wolf pack, before his new Moon spirit friend runs out of life energy and fades away.

If the team can avoid being turned into were-toads and Freddy can resist the pull of forbidden Earth-magic, maybe they can send the spirit home and save the world. One thing's for sure - Freddy will never question being a poodle again! [4]

Plot

Taking place one year after the event of the first film, Heroic poodle Freddy Lupin, thinks he has everything it takes to lead his werewolf pack, as during a secret mission of rescuing people from a burning airship, he was hanging on to a tether of the airship and got hit by many objects around Milford City but actually helped slow the airship down and making it stop and saving all the people.

When Freddy returned to Farfang he was expecting to be a hero from his pack but they were laughing so hard as they are watching the TV in the news of Freddy’s action and was treated as the villain this made Freddy so upset because no matter how hard he tries the pack always looks down on him and not respecting him his father consoles him saying respect doesn't happen overnight but it has to be earned With a heavy heart, Freddy left the room, followed by Batty. After sharing his concerns, he sees a stone carved with the image of a werewolf performing a ritual at The Summoning Stone, what the pack uses to ask the moon spirits for help. When they arrived at The Summoning Stone, Freddy placed his palm on a symbol on the stone and asked the moon spirits for some help but they had no honour of helping him and they leave but a baby moon spirit named 'Moopoo' accepted Freddy's plea and sent the spirit moon's power from within itself, descended upon Freddy transforming him into a true werewolf with Moopoo, descended to Earth. Freddy entered the transforming room in Farfang and stunning everyone in the room with his transformation. after he encounter with the pack, Moopoo entered the room, which left everyone in the room even more astonished. Lady Hightail then shared the story of Max, the evil sorcerer, who is a former member of the Night patrol. In her time, she was merely a werewolf who was not respected due to her weaknesses, so she sought a solution by studying forbidden earth magic. She used this magic in an attempt to gain recognition from the Night Patrol. Unfortunately, Max was shunned by the other werewolves, and tried to steal the spirit moon's power. However, she was punished by the moon spirits, to never transform into a wolf again, Freddy was blamed for making the earth and the spirit planes into contact thereby threatening the entire Cosmic balance and now they can't send the spirit home but only Max knew the magic to the portal spell but has been ostracized for a long time. Suddenly, Moopoo disappeared, the pack went after him and Freddy was suspended from the Night Patrol, he then met his father at the wall gate. Flasheart explained that the moon spirit should not be on Earth, and soon, Moopoo's spirit moon power would fade, potentially causing irreversible damage. Before leaving with the rest of the pack.

After Freddy and Batty found Moopoo they plan to find Max to use the portal spell to get Moopoo home, they went to get help from their friends Twitchy, Hamish, and Bruno and they agreed to help find Max, and they eventually arrived at the Great Kennel, a place where a pack of dogs kept stories of history and secrets. They discovered a wall that told them where Max was and it was a place called The Great Mist. As Hamish guide dog lead them, they took a ride on the bus where they have made a few stops at a few bus stops before they finally reached their destination, when they enter into the forest area the place was full of traps they set off and a magical barrier which Moopoo destroyed and Batty explained that she was afraid of bats Freddy asked Batty to join them, as they needed her sharp sense of smell. Batty agreed and walked toward them. Later a bat monster named Gargar, appeared and frightened Freddy and the others, Freddy and Batty were separated from the rest of the group and ran away from Gargar. They found themselves in an area filled with monsters. Max arrived. She greeted Freddy and Batty harshly in this place where she called the monsters Whoopsies, Freddy then asked Max about the spell to open the portal between the moon and Earth. Max refused to tell him and instead ordered Freddy to follow her, she orders him to carry out the task of attacking his friends then after pretending to kill Twitchy, Hamish, and Bruno, Max started trusting him and prepare him to start doing magic the following day.

In the morning Moopoo uses his powers to absorb dark magic from the Whoopsie, causing him to have mischievously behaviour Twitchy, Hamish, and Bruno tried stopping him but it kept getting worse by absorbing more dark magic, While Freddy goes to begin learning magic from Max, Batty goes to find the others but faces some trouble with Gargar, who kept following her then later both enjoying some good times together, after mastering some spells Freddy asked Max to teach him the portal spell but she ordered Freddy to return to the treehouse, but Freddy instead followed Max to a steep cliff up there Freddy discovered she has a hidden library of magic spells when Max was gone Freddy tries finding the portal spell by experimenting with the spells one by one during that Batty and Gargar had found the others but Moopoo suddenly absorbed dark magic from Gargar, causing him to flee away, back on the rocky clifftop Freddy was enjoying mastering more magic Moopoo joins him but after using up all his stored energy Moopoo became weak and was almost disappearing Suddenly, Max, appeared and was furious of Freddy’s betrayed who then confronts her and explains that she doesn’t have friends and revealing that her Whoopsies we’re afraid of her and not respecting this discovery makes her realize her mistake and she agrees to help them, together Freddy and Max completed the spells and created the portal to the moon However, after that, Max betrayed Freddy, as she planned to take revenge on the moon spirits and attacked Freddy and trapped Batty and the others in a forcefield, she then used her Magic to suck the moon and it’s magic through the portal, alters the Earth's gravity causing caused objects to float all over the world, then she regained her werewolf powers, Freddy tried to fight back with a small incantation to Max who started attacking him by using her powerful magic throw lightning bulbs and rocks at him, Batty and the other we’re still trapped but with a piece of glass of Hamish’s guide dog glasses and Bruno’s powerful fart they managed to break free from the forcefield, after that Freddy‘s Father and the pack arrived to help, but Max attacked everyone with kneeling magic to make them bow down to her Fortunately, Batty called upon Gargar, who returns flew into the sky and attacked Max along with some other bats just then’ Moopoo try to reach the moon light power but suddenly Max attacked him with her dark magic but Freddy stopped her and turned her into a powerless frog However, the dark magic attack cause Moopoo to transformed into a gigantic evil monster, which he suddenly began to control the gravity and attacked everyone around him, but Freddy and his friends calms him down by singing the lullaby what his mother sings to him, coming back to his senses Moopoo uses his magic to stop the moon from crashing into earth i’m bringing gravity back to normal.

Moopoo was now too weak and started disappearing and the portal was starting to close, so Freddy gives up his moon energy to save him losing his wolf form and turns back into a human, Moopoo, now restored and says goodbye to everyone and flies through the portal returns home to the moon and reunite with his mother and the other moon spirit and as of Freddy’s help Moopoo and the spirits send down some moon power to him turning him back into a poodle accepting who he was along with the whole pack bowing to him as respect.
