The 2000 European Nations Cup (ENC) Third Division (a European rugby union competition for national teams) was contested by five countries over one year during which all teams meet each other one time. The winner was Czech Republic and the runners-up was Poland, both were promoted to Division 2.

Rugby union Team sport, code of rugby football

Rugby union, commonly known in most of the world simply as rugby, is a contact team sport which originated in England in the first half of the 19th century. One of the two codes of rugby football, it is based on running with the ball in hand. In its most common form, a game is between two teams of 15 players using an oval-shaped ball on a rectangular field with H-shaped goalposts at each end.

The Czech Republic national rugby union team is the third tier rugby national team of the Czech Republic.

Poland national rugby union team

The Poland national rugby union team is governed by the Polish Rugby Union and has been participating in international rugby since 1958. Poland have yet to play in a Rugby World Cup. They play in red and white.

Marc Lammers Dutch field hockey player

Marc Lammers is a former field hockey player and head coach. In the past, he led the Spanish women's national field hockey team from 1999 to 2000 and the Dutch women's national field hockey team from 2000 to 2008. Under his guidance the Dutch team won the silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece and gold at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Later he also coached the Belgian men's national field hockey team until 2014, with whom he became European vice-champion. As a player, he earned five caps for the Men's Squad. Lammers played for sixteen years in the Netherlands' first division named Hoofdklasse, with HC Den Bosch, HC Tilburg and Oranje Zwart.

World Cricket League series of international one-day cricket tournaments

The ICC World Cricket League was a series of international one-day cricket tournaments for national teams without Test status, administered by the International Cricket Council. All Associate Members of the ICC are eligible to compete in the league system, which features a promotion and relegation structure between divisions. The league system has two main aims: to provide a qualification system for the World Cup that can be accessed by all Associate Members, and as an opportunity for these sides to play international one-day matches against teams of similar standards.
