2004 Beach Handball World Championships

The 2004 Beach Handball World Championships are a nine-team tournament in both men's and women's beach handball, held at El Gouna in Egypt in 2004. This were the first ever beach handball world championships held in history of the sport. Matches are played in sets, the team that wins two sets is the winner of a match. When teams are equal in points the head-to-head result is decisive.

The 2016 Beach Handball World Championships was a twelve-team tournament in both men's and women's beach handball, held at Budapest, Hungary from 12 to 17 July 2016. It was the seventh edition of the event.

The 2021 European Beach Handball Championship was held in Varna, Bulgaria from 13 to 18 July 2021. The tournament was held at Varna's South Beach area, where four courts were. All results, schedules and news regarding the EHF Beach Handball EURO can be found at beacheuro.eurohandball.com.

The 2022 Men's IHF Beach Handball World Championships was the ninth edition of the championship, held from 21 to 26 June 2022 at Crete, Greece under the aegis of International Handball Federation (IHF). It was the first time in history that the championship is organised by Hellenic Handball Federation.
