Brenda Villa is an American accomplished water polo player. She is the most decorated athlete in the world of women’s water polo. Villa was named Female Water Polo Player of the Decade for 2000-2009 by the FINA Aquatics World Magazine. She is one of four female players who competed in water polo at four Olympics; and one of two female athletes who won four Olympic medals in water polo. She is a leading goalscorer in Olympic water polo history, with 31 goals. In 2018, she was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and the USA Water Polo Hall of Fame.
Anthony Lawrence Azevedo is a Brazilian-born American water polo player. He is a 2008 Olympic silver medalist and a five-time Olympian. Azevedo ranks fourth on the all-time scoring list in Olympic history, with 61 goals. Nicknamed "The Savior" at one point, he is considered to be one of the best American water polo players in recent memory. He was the former captain of the U.S. National Men's Water Polo Team. He is also a graduate of Stanford University.

The Brazil national cricket team is the men's team that represents the country of Brazil in international cricket. The team is organised by the Brazilian Cricket Association, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2002 and an associate member in 2017. However, the national side has a history dating back much longer, with its first recorded international match coming against Argentina in 1888. Regular international competition commenced in the 1920s, and resumed in the 1950s after a gap during World War II. Almost all of Brazil's matches have come against other South American sides, although in recent years the team has participated in several ICC Americas tournaments, which include sides from Central and North America. Pietro Figlioli is an Italian professional water polo player. He competed for Australia at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics and for Italy in 2012 and 2016 and won two medals for Italy. He also won the world title in 2011. In 2012 he received the Gold Collar of Sporting Merit from the Italian Olympic Committee.

Genai Kerr is an American water polo player. He is a member of the United States men's national water polo team and played in the 2004 Athens Olympics. Genai was a member of the United States Men's National Water Polo Team for 12 years and played in the 2004 Athens Olympics, 2003 & 2007 Pan American Gold medal games, and multiple World Championships. He is one of the only athletes in history to compete internationally as a goalie and as a field player. Most recently he was named MVP of the 2012 US Open after he helped Newport Water Polo Foundation win the national championship. Genai has coached at every level, from age group to Division 1 college programs. Over the last 15 years he has run hundreds of camps with Nike 5meter Water Polo Camps.
Slobodan Soro is a Serbian-born Brazilian water polo goalkeeper.
Ratko Rudić is a retired Croatian water polo coach and a former water polo player. As of 2015, he has won 38 medals as a coach at major events, making him the most successful water polo coach in history, and second most successful team sport coach of all time. He won four gold medals, of which three consecutive, with three different national teams at the Summer Olympics, as well as three gold medals with three national teams at the World Championships, among many others. In 2007 was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame, described as "one of the best, if not the best, water polo coach to walk the deck of the pool".
Felipe Perrone Rocha is a Spanish-Brazilian water polo player. He competed for Spain from 2003 until 2013, including in the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Olympics. Afterwards he competed for his birth country in the 2016 Summer Olympics, as Brazil earned its first qualifying spot in 32 years as hosts. He helped Spanish water polo club CN Atlètic-Barceloneta win the LEN Champions League in 2013–14 season. His brother Ricardo Perrone also competed for Spain in water polo.
Josip Vrlić is a Croatian professional water polo player. He was part of the Brazilian team at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships and 2016 Summer Olympics. He won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Izabella Maizza Chiappini is a Brazilian-born Italian water polo player.
Gabriela Mantellato Dias is a water polo player of Brazil. She competed at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships, 2015 Pan American Games, and won a bronze medal at the 2011 Pan American Games.
