2015 World Polo Championship

The World Polo Championship 2015 , tenth edition, took place in Santiago, Chile during March and April 2015 and was won by the host, beating the United States in the final.

Contents

This event brought together six teams from around the world in the Club de Polo y Equitación San Cristóbal of the Chilean capital.

Polo or Chovgan is a ball game that is played on horseback, a traditional field sport and one of the world's oldest known team sports. It originated in ancient Persia, dating back over 2,000 years. Draško Brguljan is a Montenegrin water polo player who is a free agent. He was a member of the Montenegro men's national water polo team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. The team reached the semifinals, where they were defeated by Hungary before losing again to Serbia in the bronze medal match. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he again played for Montenegro, who were again defeated by Serbia in the bronze medal match, losing 11–12.
