The 2005 Girls' Youth European Volleyball Championship was the 6th edition of the competition, with the main phase (contested between 12 teams) held in Estonia from 29 March to 3 April 2005. [1]

The 2013 Girls Youth Volleyball World Championship was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, from 26 July to 4 August 2013. This was the first edition of the tournament that features 20 teams.

The 2009 FIVB Girls Youth Volleyball World Championship was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 3 to 12 July 2009. 16 teams participated in the tournament.
