The 2007 Challenge Tour was the 19th season of the Challenge Tour, the official development tour to the European Tour.

Changes for 2007

Five new tournaments were added to the schedule, including the Club Colombia Masters, [1] the Dutch Futures, the Open AGF-Allianz Côtes d'Armor Bretagne, the Doc Salbe PGA European Challenge in Germany and the Toscana Open Italian Federation Cup.

The rankings were based on prize money won during the season, calculated in Euros. [3] [4] The top 20 players on the rankings earned status to play on the 2008 European Tour. [5]

  2. The number in brackets after each winner's name is the number of Challenge Tour events they had won up to and including that tournament. This information is only shown for Challenge Tour members. It is rare for someone to accumulate many wins on the Challenge Tour as success at this level usually leads to promotion to the European Tour.

The Korn Ferry Tour is the developmental tour for the U.S.-based PGA Tour, and features professional golfers who have either not yet reached the PGA Tour, or who have done so but then failed to win enough FedEx Cup points to stay at that level. Those who are on the top 30 of the money list at year's end are given PGA Tour memberships for the next season. Since the 2013 season, the Korn Ferry Tour has been the primary pathway for those seeking to earn their PGA Tour card. Q-School, which had previously been the primary route for qualification to the PGA Tour, has been converted as an entryway to the Korn Ferry Tour.

Lee John Westwood is an English professional golfer. Noted for his consistency, he is one of the few golfers who has won tournaments on five continents – Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and Oceania – including victories on the European Tour and the PGA Tour. He has also won tournaments in four decades, the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s. He was named European Tour Golfer of the Year for the 1998, 2000, 2009 and 2020 seasons. He has won the 2000 European Tour Order of Merit, and the renamed 2009 and 2020 Race to Dubai. He has frequently been mentioned as one of the best golfers without a major championship victory, with several near misses including three runner-up finishes.

Dustin Hunter Johnson is an American professional golfer. Peter Uihlein is an American professional golfer who formerly played on the PGA Tour and the European Tour and now plays in the LIV Golf League. He was a member of the victorious U.S. team at the 2009 Walker Cup, where he compiled a 4–0 match record. Uihlein won the 2010 U.S. Amateur and is a former number one ranked amateur golfer in the world.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Brooks Koepka</span> American professional golfer (born 1990)

Brooks Koepka is an American professional golfer who plays in the LIV Golf League. He formerly played on the PGA Tour. In October 2018, Koepka became world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking and remained for 47 weeks after winning the 2018 CJ Cup. He won the U.S. Open in 2017 and 2018, and the PGA Championship in 2018 and 2019, becoming the first golfer in history to hold back-to-back titles in two majors simultaneously. In 2023 Koepka won the PGA Championship for the third time, bringing his total to five majors won within six years. He started his career on the European Challenge Tour and eventually the European Tour. Koepka played college golf at Florida State University.

The 2013 European Tour was the 42nd season of the European Tour, the main professional golf tour in Europe since its inaugural season in 1972.

The 2018–19 PGA Tour was the 104th season of the PGA Tour, the main professional golf tour in the United States. It was also the 51st season since separating from the PGA of America, and the 13th edition of the FedEx Cup.

The 2019 European Tour was the 48th season of the European Tour, the main professional golf tour in Europe since its inaugural season in 1972.

The 2020 European Tour was the 49th season of the European Tour, the main professional golf tour in Europe since its inaugural season in 1972.

The 2022–23 PGA Tour was the 108th season of the PGA Tour, the main professional golf tour in the United States. It was also the 55th season since separating from the PGA of America, and the 17th edition of the FedEx Cup.
