The qualification event for the 2007 World Wheelchair Curling Championship was held from November 8 to 12, 2006 at the Braehead Curling Rink in Braehead, Scotland. The event's two top finishers, Russia and Japan, both qualified to participate in the 2008 World Wheelchair Curling Championship. The two qualification spots were given to the top two teams at the conclusion of the round robin.

2019 European Curling Championships

The 2019 Le Gruyère AOP European Curling Championships was held in 2019 to qualify European curling teams for the 2020 World Curling Championships and World Qualification Event. The A and B division competitions were held from November 16 to 23 at The Olympia Rink in Helsingborg, Sweden. The C division competition was held from April 13 to 17 at the Brașov Olympic Ice Rink in Brașov, Romania.

The 2019 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships was held from November 2 to 9 at the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Center in Shenzhen, China. The top men's team and the top two women's teams qualified for the 2020 World Men's Curling Championship and 2020 World Women's Curling Championship respectively. The next two placed teams of each gender qualified for the World Qualification Event, a chance to qualify for the World Curling Championships.

2019 World Wheelchair-B Curling Championship

The 2019 World Wheelchair-B Curling Championship were held from November 27 to December 2 in Lohja, Finland. The championship was used to qualify three teams for the 2020 World Wheelchair Curling Championship in Wetzikon, Switzerland.
