The 2008 African Volleyball Championship U19 was the tenth edition of the African Volleyball Championship U19. It was held in Cairo, Egypt, from December 21 to December 25, 2008. The top three teams will qualify for the 2009 Youth World Championship.
The competition system of the 2008 African Championship U19 is the single Round-Robin system. Each team plays once against each of the 4 remaining teams. Points are accumulated during the whole tournament, and the final ranking is determined by the total points gained.

Ibrahim Besbes [1] Innocent Irdukunda Mohamed Khatab Ahmed Elkotb Mahdi Sammoud Saddem Hmissi The Women's Africa Volleyball Championship U18 is a sport competition for national teams with women players under 18 years, currently held biannually and organized by the African Volleyball Confederation, the Africa volleyball federation.
Ahmed Salah, also known as Ahmed Abdel Naeim, is an Egyptian indoor volleyball player. Since 2003 he is a member of the Egypt men's national volleyball team, where he goes by the nickname Salah. He competed at the 2008 and 2016 Summer Olympics and 2006, 2010 and 2014 World Championships.
The 2005 Women's African Nations Championship was the 12th edition of the Women's African Volleyball Championship organised by Africa's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Africaine de Volleyball. It was held in Abuja, Nigeria, from 8 to 15 September 2005.

Abdalla Ahmed Bekhit is an Egyptian indoor volleyball player. He was included as part of the Egypt national team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Ahmed was named to the all-tournament team at the FIVB World Grand Champions Cup. He is a setter. He was part of the Egypt men's national volleyball team at the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Italy. He played for Al Ahly SC.
