The 2016 African Volleyball Championship U19 was held in Kelibia, Tunisia from 8 to 10 September 2016. The champion qualified for the 2017 U19 World Championship. [1]

The Confederation of African Football, or CAF for short, is the administrative and controlling body for association football, futsal and beach soccer in Africa. He spent his entire career as a player at his home club US Monastir without any achievements. His training career began and was only 29 years old, making it the youngest Tunisian coach at the time. He is considered one of the most successful coaches in Tunisia. He usually uses offensive play and a high-pressure plan as he is known for his toughness in training and his excessive anger towards his players and referees. During his managerial career, he was in charge of two national teams: the Tunisian and Libyan national football teams, he was also close to signing with the Moroccan team in 2016 before appointing Hervé Renard.

Salah Mejri is a Tunisian professional basketball player for Kazma. He also represents the senior Tunisian national basketball team internationally. Standing at 7 ft 2 in (2.18 m), he plays at the center position. After a successful career in Europe, Mejri was the first Tunisian NBA player when he joined the Dallas Mavericks in 2015 as a 29-year-old rookie. He stayed in the NBA for four seasons before returning with the Real Madrid in 2019 offseason.

The 2011 African U-23 Championship was the first edition of the football tournament for players under 23 years. It was originally scheduled to be hosted by Egypt from 26 November to 10 December 2011. However, less than two months prior to the start of the tournament, Egyptian authorities decided against hosting the competition because of security concerns. On 13 October 2011, Morocco was chosen as the replacement to host the tournament.

Abdalla Ahmed Bekhit is an Egyptian indoor volleyball player. He was included as part of the Egypt national team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Ahmed was named to the all-tournament team at the FIVB World Grand Champions Cup. He is a setter. He was part of the Egypt men's national volleyball team at the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Italy. He played for Al Ahly SC.
