The FIBA Africa Basketball League was the highest caliber men's professional basketball competition for clubs until 2020, organized by the FIBA Africa and played by the champions of the leagues of the African countries. The league was replaced by the Basketball Africa League (BAL) from 2020.

FIBA Intercontinental Cup Basketball competition

The FIBA Intercontinental Cup, also commonly referred to as the FIBA World Cup for Champion Clubs, or the FIBA Club World Cup, is a professional basketball clubs competition that is endorsed by FIBA World and the NBA. Historically, its purpose has been to gather the premier basketball clubs from each of the world's geographical zones, and to officially decide the best basketball club of the world, which is officially crowned as the world club champion. The World Cup for Clubs has been contended mainly by the champions of the continents and/or world geographical regions that are of the highest basketball levels.

AfroBasket 2011

AfroBasket 2011 was the 26th FIBA Africa Championship, played under the auspices of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball, the basketball sport governing body, and the African zone thereof. At stake is the berth allocated to Africa in the 2012 Summer Olympics basketball tournament. The tournament was scheduled to be hosted by Côte d'Ivoire, with games to be played in Abidjan. However, in 2011 Madagascar was chosen as host replacement due to a political crisis in Côte d'Ivoire.

AfroBasket 2013

AfroBasket 2013 was the 27th FIBA Africa Championship, played under the rules of FIBA, the world governing body for basketball, and the FIBA Africa thereof. The tournament was hosted by Ivory Coast from August 20 to 31, all games were played at the Palais des Sports de Treichville, Abidjan.

African Basketball League

The African Basketball League (ABL) was a men's private professional basketball league in Africa established with the vision of creating opportunities in the sports industry by capturing the rich entertainment culture of Africans to promote sports tourism.

The 2018–19 Africa Basketball League was the 33nd edition of FIBA Africa's premier club Basketball tournament and the first under the new format and new name of Africa Basketball League. The season saw an expansion from twelve to sixteen teams.

ABC Fighters

Abidjan Basket Club Fighters, commonly known as ABC Fighters, is an Ivorian basketball club based in the city of Abidjan. Founded in 1998, the team is the most successful men teams in the country, with 19 national championships won, and one FIBA Africa Cup in 2005. Home arena of the team is the Palais des Sports de Treichville.

Abraham Sie Ivorian basketball player

Louis Cyrille Jean Benoît She, better known as Abraham Sie, was an Ivorian basketball player. During his career he played for the Ivory Coast national basketball team.
