The 2008 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series was an exciting season of racing and the second season of the series. Scott Steckly, who dominated many events He won three of the first four events of the year fought off a late season charge from Thomson Jr. to become the series second ever champion winning by a margin of 24 points. British Columbia native Jason White was the rookie of the year beating Anthony Simone. Past CASCAR champion Peter Gibbons decided to retire after a lengthy career.

The SRL All-Star Showdown is a Super Late Model championship event at Irwindale Speedway, originally held from the 2006-2010 seasons as a non-championship NASCAR event for lower-level series, and since the 2020 motorsport season, revived by the circuit was a Super Late Model event for the SRL Southwest Tour.

Eric Holmes won the championship, 48 points in front of Jason Bowles. This was Holmes' second championship after his first came in 2006. The 2013 NASCAR Toyota Series was the seventh season of the NASCAR Toyota Series, and the tenth organized by NASCAR Mexico. The season was composed by fifteen races. It began with the UNOH Battle at the Beach at Daytona International Speedway on February 18, which did not count towards the championship. The first race for the championship was the Icebreaker 150 presented by Town Fair Tire at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on April 6. It ended with the Sunoco World Series 150 at Thompson again on October 19. Ryan Preece entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. 2012 champion Doug Coby won the 2014 championship after 13 races, 22 points ahead of Preece. Preece won the last race, which meant he went from sixth to second in the championship.

The 2015 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour was the thirty-first season of the Whelen Modified Tour (WMT). It began with the Icebreaker 150 at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on April 12 and concluded at the same venue with the Sunoco World Series 150 on October 18.

The 2015 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour was the eleventh season of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour (WSMT). It began with the Spring Classic 150 at Caraway Speedway on March 15 and ended with the Charlotte 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 8. Andy Seuss, who entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion, won the championship, three points in front of George Brunnhoelzl III. Five races during the season were televised in the United States on NBCSN by a tape-delay.

The 2015 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series was the ninth season of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, which took place in the summer of 2015. The season consisted of 11 races at 10 different venues, of which 7 were held on ovals. It began with the Pinty's presents the Clarington 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on May 17 and ended with the Pinty's 250 at Kawartha Speedway on September 19. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion; 2015 was the final season that Canadian Tire sponsored the series, with Pinty's taking over the title sponsorship from 2016.

It ended with the World Series of Speedway Racing at Thompson again on October 25. Ted Christopher entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. Donny Lia won the 2009 championship after 13 races, 16 points ahead of Ryan Preece.

The 2008 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour was the fourth season of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour (WSMT). It began with the Whelen Southern Modified Tour 150 at Caraway Speedway on March 22. It ended with the Whelen 150 at Caraway again on October 4. L. W. Miller entered the season as the defending championship. Brian Loftin would win his first and only championship in the series, 30 points ahead of series runner up Tim Brown.
