Kilmacud Crokes GAA

Kilmacud Crokes is a large Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Stillorgan, Dublin, Republic of Ireland.

The 2006 Dublin Senior Football Championship was an edition of an annual Gaelic football competition organized by the Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association in Ireland. The competition used a modified knockout format. The previous champions in 2005 were Kilmacud Crokes, who were knocked out of the 2006 competition at the semi-final stage. UCD finished the 2006 championship as Dublin champions, by beating St Vincents in the final.

The Dublin Senior Hurling Championship is an annual hurling competition organised by the Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) since 1887 for the top hurling clubs in County Dublin, Ireland.

The Dublin Bus/Evening Herald Dubs Stars Football/Hurling are the players chosen as the top Gaelic football and hurling players in their given position in the year that the Blue stars awards are awarded. The Dublin Blue Stars are a similar award to the GAA All Stars Awards which are awarded annually by the Gaelic Athletic Association. Dublin traditionally play against the Blue stars team in a challenge match, which proves to be an opportunity to see and try out new players for the Dublin football and Hurling teams.

This is a round-up of all the latest in the 2007 Dublin Senior Football Championship which began on 18 April 2007 when Garda took on champions UCD at Parnell Park. UCD had finished the 2006 championship by beating St Vincents in the final. St Vincents managed to better their 2006 performance by beating St Brigids in the final at Parnell Park.

Barry O'Rorke or "baz" (born 3 March 1989) is an inter-county Gaelic footballer and hurler for Dublin. He plays his club hurling and football with Kilmacud Crokes and has been a member of the senior panel in both codes. He received his secondary education at the Irish medium school Coláiste Eoin in County Dublin. In 2007, O'Rorke received a sports scholarship to University College Dublin (UCD) for his contributions in both Gaelic football and hurling. O'Rorke is a speaker of the Irish language and is noted for saying his Leinster championship speech in the language in June 2007. He is the brother of former Under-21 Dublin hurling player Shane O'Rorke "shaz" and Dublin minor hurling player Oisin O'Rorke "Oiaz".

The Dublin Footballer of the Year is an award presented to the best Gaelic football player of the year for Dublin GAA.

Brian Kavanagh was a Gaelic football player for his native Longford and at club level for Kilmacud Crokes of Dublin.

Liam Óg Ó hÉineacháin is a Gaelic footballer for the Dublin GAA club Kilmacud Crokes. He formerly played for the Dublin county team. He won the Dublin Senior Football Championship with Kilmacud in October 2008 at Parnell Park. Ó hÉineacháin was a panelist against St Oliver Plunketts Eoghan Ruadh but was being rested for the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship. He scored a total of 0-06 in the 2008 Dublin Championship.

O'Toole Park, also known as Lorcan O'Toole Park, is a Gaelic games venue in Crumlin, Dublin. The ground was opened in 1957 by then Minister for Defence Kevin Boland. It is named after Lorcan O'Toole, who was secretary of the Dublin County Board from 1915 to 1940.

The 1985–86 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 49th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county club hurling tournament. The championship began on 25 August 1985 and ended on 16 March 1986.

The 2013 Dublin Senior Football Championship was the top club championship competition on the Dublin GAA calendar for 2013. The championship was changed since 2012, with a backdoor system no longer in place, meaning that the championship was played on a knockout basis. All teams knocked out in the first round of the Dublin championship were entered into a new Dublin Senior B Championship.

The 2014 Dublin Senior Hurling Championship was the 125th staging of the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Dublin County Board in 1887. The knock-out championship began on 26 September 2014 and ended on 26 October 2014.

In Gaelic football, St. Vincent's were the defending champions in the Dublin Senior Football Championship after winning the Dublin Championship in 2013 and 2014. Castleknock played in the 2015 Senior Championship after winning the 2014 Dublin Intermediate Football Championship.

The 2021 Dublin Senior Hurling Championship was the 134th and current staging of the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Dublin County Board in 1887. The championship began on 3 September 2021 and ended on 13 November 2021.
