In the third season of the Balkan International Basketball League, ten participants from the Republic of Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro and the new represented countries Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia has competed.

Format

Regular season

In the regular season the teams will be divided into two groups, each containing five teams. Each team plays every other team in its group at home and away. The two teams that finished at the top of their group advance to the final four. The teams that finish second and third in their group advance to the quarterfinals. The opening game has been played on October 2, 2010 and the last matchday has been played on 1–2 May 2011.

Quarterfinals

The teams that finished second in their home played against the third placed teams in the other group in a Best-Of-3 series with home advantage.

Final four

The four remaining teams play a semifinal match and the winners of those advance to the final. The losers play in a third-place playoff. The final four has been hosted at the Jasmin Sports Hall, Kavadarci, Republic of Macedonia.

The 2008–09 UEFA Champions League was the 54th edition of Europe's premier club football tournament and the 17th edition under the current UEFA Champions League format. The final was played at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on 27 May 2009. It was the eighth time the European Cup final has been held in Italy and the fourth time it has been held at the Stadio Olimpico. GFK Tikvesh Football club

GFK Tikvesh 1930, commonly referred to as Tikvesh, is a professional football club from Kavadarci, North Macedonia, that currently competes in the Macedonian First League. After playing at different home grounds in the early years, the club moved to Gradski Stadion Kavadarci on 19 March 1950 and have remained there since.

The 2008-09 season is the first season of the Balkan International Basketball League. Ten teams from the Republic of Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia are competing.

In the second season of the Balkan International Basketball League are competing ten participants from the Republic of Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro.

In the fourth season of the Balkan International Basketball League, twelve participants from the Republic of Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the new represented country Israel has competed.

In the fifth season of the Balkan International Basketball League, twelve participants from the Republic of Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Israel, Croatia and the new represented country Greece has competed.

In the sixth season of the Balkan International Basketball League, ten participants from Bulgaria, the Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Israel and Romania and the new represented country Kosovo has competed.

The 2014–15 EuroChallenge was the 12th and last edition of Europe's third-tier level transnational competition for men's professional basketball clubs. The winner and the runner-up of this competition earned a place at the group stage of next year's Eurocup season.

In the seventh season of the Balkan International Basketball League, ten participants from Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo, the Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Romania has competed.

The 2017–18 UEFA Europa League was the 47th season of Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 9th season since it was renamed from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europa League.
