The 2010 Jordan Brand Classic, Presented by Foot Locker was an All-star basketball game played on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York, home of the NBA's New York Knicks. The game's rosters featured the best and most highly recruited high school boys graduating in 2010. The game was the 9th annual version of the Jordan Brand Classic first played in 2002.
The game takes its name from the chief organizer, Jordan Brand, a division of NIKE, Inc. The 20 players are routinely selected from the top 100 players as ranked by ESPNU. “As our preeminent basketball game, the Jordan Brand Classic strives to put the top talent on the floor each year and this year is no exception,” said Keith Houlemard, President of Jordan Brand. “We are thrilled to host the nation’s best at the World’s Most Famous Arena in the biggest city in the U.S.” [1]
The 2010 selections consisted of the top 13 ranked players, 15 from the top 16, 18 from the top 25, and all 20 from the top 50 players in the rankings.

The Jordan Brand Classic is the third game of a triple-header. In addition to the featured game, the schedule includes a Regional Game that showcases the top prep players from the New York City metropolitan area in a City vs. Suburbs showdown. Now in its third year, an International Game is also played that features 16 of the top 17-and-under players from around the world.
This year’s triple-header will begin with the Regional Game at 3:30 p.m. followed by the International Game at 5:30 p.m., and the All-American Game at 8:00 p.m.
In addition to the game, the Jordan Brand All-Americans have a number of special events around New York City. Other events held in prior years have included an autograph session at the Foot Locker House of Hoops, a celebrity bowling event at Lucky Strikes, a visit with kids from the Children’s Aid Society at the Dunlevy Millbank Center in Harlem and attendance at the annual awards dinner, where they receive their All-American medallions.

Central Catholic High School, is a Catholic, co-educational, college prep secondary school in Toledo, Ohio. It is operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Toledo and is the largest Catholic high school in the area. CCHS was founded as Cathedral High School in 1919, with its name change in 1920. The school, which is located one mile northwest of Downtown Toledo, offers two possible degrees: honors or college prep. It has received two School of Excellence Awards and the Drug Prevention Award.

The St. John's Red Storm men's basketball team represents St. John's University located in Queens, New York. The team participates in the Big East Conference, where it is a founding member of the league. As of the end of the 2022–23 season, St. John's ranked ninth with 1,922 total wins among NCAA Division I teams. St. John's has appeared in 30 NCAA tournaments, most recently appearing in 2019. The Red Storm's best finish in the NCAA tournament came in 1952 when they were NCAA runner-ups and made the Final Four. St. John's also made a Final Four appearance in 1985. St. John's is coached by Rick Pitino.
Jessica Ann "Jessie" Vetter is an American ice hockey player and a member of the United States women's national ice hockey team. She was also a member of the 2008–09 Wisconsin Badgers women's ice hockey team, which won an NCAA title. She was drafted 20th overall by the Boston Blades in the 2011 CWHL Draft.
The Jordan Brand Classic is a high school all star basketball game played annually in April. The game's rosters feature the best and most highly recruited high school boys and girls in the senior class. In 2015, a girl's game was introduced.
Quincy Cortez Miller-Scott is an American professional basketball player for the Toyama Grouses of the B.League. Cory Ephram Joseph is a Canadian professional basketball player who last played for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He plays the point guard position and was previously the captain of the Canadian national team.
Jabari Ali Parker is an American professional basketball player for FC Barcelona of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. He was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the second overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft, after one season of playing for Duke University. He played four seasons for the Bucks. Then, he played with 5 different teams over the course of 4 more NBA seasons. Parker was a standout high school athlete, helping his team win four straight Illinois state championships for Simeon Career Academy, and was named the National High School Player of the Year by Gatorade and McDonald's. In his freshman year for the 2013–14 Duke Blue Devils, he was named a consensus first-team All-American, the USBWA National Freshman of the Year, and the runner-up for the John R. Wooden Award.

The 2021–22 USC Trojans women's basketball team represents the University of Southern California during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Capital Classic is an annual American all-star game featuring high school basketball players. It is the country's longest-running high school all-star basketball game. The game pits a team of all-stars from the Washington, D.C., area against stars from around the United States. In its prime in the late 1970s and 1980s, the game drew star players such as Patrick Ewing, Grant Hill, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Ralph Sampson, and Dominique Wilkins.
