Lee Sedol South Korean Go player

Lee Sedol, or Lee Se-dol, is a former South Korean professional Go player of 9 dan rank. As of February 2016, he ranked second in international titles (18), behind only Lee Chang-ho (21). He is the fifth youngest to become a professional Go player in South Korean history behind Cho Hun-hyun, Lee Chang-ho, Cho Hye-yeon and Choi Cheol-han. His nickname is "The Strong Stone" ("Ssen-dol"). In March 2016, he played a notable series of matches against AlphaGo that ended in 1-4.

Beer, called maekju in Korean, was first introduced to Korea in the early 20th century. Seoul's first beer brewery opened in 1908. Two current major breweries date back to the 1930s. The third brewery established in Korea, Jinro Coors Brewery, was founded in the 1990s. It was later acquired by Oriental Breweries (OB). Hite Breweries's former name was Chosun Breweries, which was established in 1933. The company changed its name to Hite Breweries in 1998. OB Breweries established as Showa Kirin Breweries in 1933. The company changed its name to OB Breweries in 1995.

Hite Brewery Company Limited is a South Korean brewery company headquartered in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Its main products are beer, rice wine, and mineral water. The company was established as Chosun Breweries in 1933. In 2001 the company had three factories, and in 2002 its market share of the domestic beer market was some 55%, up from 30% in 1992.

Choi Cheol-han is a South Korean professional Go player. He is the fourth youngest to become a professional Go player in South Korean history behind Cho Hun-hyun, Lee Chang-ho and Cho Hye-yeon. His nickname is "The Viper".

Myongji University Christian university in South Korea

Myongji University is a private, Christian university founded in 1948 in South Korea. It provides higher education in the fields of engineering, sciences and humanities. It has two campuses: the Social Science Campus is located in Seoul and the Natural Science Campus is in Yongin which is 35 kilometres (22 mi) south of the capital. It is made up of 10 colleges, 42 departments, seven faculties and eight specialized postgraduate programs.

Jinro (gamer)

Jonathan Walsh, nicknamed Jinro, is a retired Swedish professional StarCraft 2 player. He lives in South Korea, and played for Team Liquid in the GOMTV Global Starcraft II League (GSL). Jinro used to live in the oGs team house, which was due to an agreement between oGs and Team Liquid. With the breakup of oGs, Jinro has found a new house with fellow Team Liquid players TLO, Hero, and Haypro. He plays as Terran. Jinro became the first non-Korean to reach the semi-finals in GSL Season 3. Jinro then went on to reach the semi-finals a second time. So far, Jinro is the only foreigner to reach the Ro4 in GSL. In November 2010 he won the Major League Gaming Starcraft 2 tournament in Dallas. His nickname comes from the Korean distiller Jinro.

Lee Younggu is a Korean professional Go player.

The 2010 Korean Baduk League began on 6 May 2010 and concluded on 23 January 2011. Shinan Chunil Salt defeated Hangame in the final, winning their first league title.

The Korean Baduk League is a Go competition in South Korea. The league is made up of eight teams sponsored by several different companies. The tournament itself is sponsored by Baduk TV.

Chun In-gee, also known as In Gee Chun, is a South Korean professional golfer. She was born in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province.

Chamisul is a brand of soju by HiteJinro. It is the most popular brand of liquor in the world. Chamisul Fresh is 17% ABV, and Chamisul ORIGINAL is 20.1% ABV. The name "Chamisul," meaning "dew" in Korean, was created by Son Hye-won, the representative of Cross Point to represent the dew on the bottles of cold soju. It is also the Korean-reading of the hanja Jin-ro (眞露), the name of the company. The name of the first product was "Chamjinisulro." After the introduction of Chamisul Fresh on August 18, 2006, the brand was called both "Chamjinisulro" and "Chamisul." In December 2009, it was decided that "Chamisul" would be the sole name.
