The Nigerian National Assembly delegation from Kano comprises three Senators and fifteen Representatives. They form the legislature of Kano State, Nigeria.

Kano State House of Assembly is the state legislature of Kano State, Nigeria. Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya is a Nigerian politician who has served in the Senate of Nigeria since 2007 representing the Kano South constituency of Kano State. He is a member of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

The 1991 Kano State gubernatorial election occurred on December 14, 1991. National Republican Convention (NRC) candidate Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya won the election, defeating Social Democratic Party (SDP) Magaji Abdullahi.
