The 2012 All-Ireland Under 21 Football Championship is an inter county football competition between all 32 counties in Ireland. Four competitions are contested in each province and the winners of each provincial championship enters the all-Ireland series. There are currently 2 county teams still competing for the 2012 all-Ireland Under 21 championship, Dublin and Roscommon.

The GAA Football Under-20 All-Ireland Championship is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in Ireland. The championship was contested as the All-Ireland Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2017 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2018.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Michael Murphy (Gaelic footballer)</span> Donegal Gaelic footballer (born 1989)

Michael Murphy is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays as a full forward for Glenswilly and, formerly, for the Donegal county team, which he captained from December 2010 until his retirement from inter-county football in November 2022. His predecessors as Donegal players, such as Manus Boyle, Brendan Devenney and Anthony Molloy, regard Murphy as the county's greatest ever footballer. Outside his county he is often regarded as one of the sport's all-time best players. With more than 500 points, Murphy is Donegal's all-time record scorer and he is also the county's top goalscorer, with a points-per-game average that is higher even than Martin McHugh.

Rory O'Carroll is a footballer and hurler with Dublin and Kilmacud Crokes. He lined out as the full back on the Dublin senior football team. He is the brother of inter-county footballer and hurler Ross O'Carroll, inter-county hurler Bill O’Carroll and Oisin O'Carroll. Rory O'Carroll made his debut for Dublin against Kerry in March 2009.

The Leinster Minor Football Championship is the premier under-17 "knockout" competition in gaelic football played in the province of Leinster. 2017 was the final year of the minor under 18 football championship as it were replaced by an under 17 championship following a vote at the GAA Congress on 26 February 2016.

The 2019 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the 132nd edition of the GAA's premier inter-county Gaelic football tournament since its establishment in 1887.

The Donegal county football team represents Donegal in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Donegal GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. As with other sports, the COVID-19 pandemic caused disruption to Gaelic games, primarily in Ireland but also elsewhere in the world. Competitions were cancelled, postponed or restructured, while some teams were withdrawn or were unable to participate in those competitions that went ahead.

Conor Moynagh is an Irish business-man and Gaelic footballer who played for the Cavan county team, from Minor to Senior, since 2009. He plays his club football with Drumgoon Eire Og in Cavan, having also played overseas in Boston, Chicago, Middle East and New Zealand.
