The 2012 Alps Tour was the 12th season of the Alps Tour, a third-tier golf tour recognised by the European Tour.

The Order of Merit was based on tournament results during the season, calculated using a points-based system. [2] The top five players on the Order of Merit (not otherwise exempt) earned status to play on the 2013 Challenge Tour. [3]

The Challenge Tour, also sometimes referred to as the European Challenge Tour, is the second-tier men's professional golf tour in Europe. It is operated by the PGA European Tour and similarly with the main European Tour and the European Senior Tour, some of the events are played outside Europe.
Thomas Bjørn is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He is the most successful Danish golfer to have played the game having won fifteen tournaments worldwide on the European Tour. In 1997 he also became the first Dane to qualify for a European Ryder Cup team. He captained the winning European side at the 2018 Ryder Cup.
The WGC-HSBC Champions was a professional golf tournament, held annually in China. Inaugurated in 2005, the first seven editions were played at the Sheshan Golf Club in Shanghai, then moved to the Mission Hills Golf Club in Shenzhen for a single year in 2012. It returned to Sheshan Golf Club in 2013.
José-Filipe Lima is a French-Portuguese professional golfer. He won the 2004 Aa St Omer Open to gain a place on the European Tour. His best seasons were from 2005 to 2007 when he finished in the top-100 on the European Tour Order of Merit. Successful Challenge Tour seasons in 2009, 2013 and 2016 have promoted him back to the European Tour but, on each occasion he has failed to retain his place on the tour. He was runner-up in the 2007 BMW International Open.
Richie Ramsay is a Scottish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour.
Michaël Lorenzo-Vera is a French professional golfer.
Gaganjeet Singh Bhullar is an Indian professional golfer who plays on the Asian Tour. He was awarded Arjuna Award in 2013.
Julien Quesne is a French professional golfer who plays on the European Tour.
Bernd Klaus Wiesberger is an Austrian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and formerly on the LIV Golf League. He finished the 2019 European Tour season in third place on the Race to Dubai standings, his best finish to date.
Julien Brun is a French professional golfer. He has won three times on the Challenge Tour, firstly in 2012 as an amateur, before winning again at the Open de Bretagne and the Empordà Challenge in 2021.
The 2015 Alps Tour was the 15th season of the Alps Tour, a third-tier golf tour recognised by the European Tour.
The 2017 Alps Tour was the 17th season of the Alps Tour, a third-tier golf tour recognised by the European Tour.
Matthew Wallace is an English professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and the PGA Tour.
Victor Perez is a French professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2019 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, as well as the 2023 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

Antoine Rozner is a French professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He has won three times on the tour, including wins at the Golf in Dubai Championship in December 2020 and the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters in March 2021. He has also won twice on the second-tier Challenge Tour.
Steven Brown is an English professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2019 Portugal Masters.

The 2014 Alps Tour was the 14th season of the Alps Tour, a third-tier golf tour recognised by the European Tour.
