The 2012 FIFRA Club Championship is an indoor soccer tournament that included teams from four countries and four professional leagues. Teams from United States, Canada, Mexico and Ecuador compete for FIFRA Club Championship. [1]

The Sockers first played home games at Chevrolet Del Mar Arena at the Del Mar Fairgrounds adjacent to the Del Mar Racetrack in Del Mar, California. They moved to Pechanga Arena, the original home of the MISL Sockers, for the 2012–2013 season. The Sockers plan on moving into Frontwave Arena, a 7,600 multi-purpose indoor sports arena in Oceanside, CA once it opens. The projected opening date is in the first quarter of 2024.

The 2011–12 Professional Arena Soccer League season was the fourth season for the American professional indoor soccer league, now using the nickname "PASL" instead of "PASL-Pro". The San Diego Sockers became the first team in league history to finish a season undefeated. The Sockers won their third straight PASL Championship and the first Ron Newman Cup trophy by defeating the Detroit Waza 10-7 at the Del Mar Arena, home of the Sockers.

The Dallas Sidekicks are an American professional indoor soccer team based in Allen, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. The team plays its home games in the Credit Union of Texas Event Center. They kicked off their inaugural season as a member of the Professional Arena Soccer League on November 3, 2012. The Sidekicks segued to the new Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) for its inaugural season on October 25, 2014. The team took a leave of absence on September 19, 2017, for one season to re-organize. On July 24, 2018, it was announced that the Dallas Sidekicks would return for the 2018–2019 season.

Hidalgo La Fiera was an American professional indoor soccer team based in Hidalgo, Texas. They played in the Southern Division of the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL). The team was founded in 2012 as the Rio Grande Valley Flash when the Monterrey Flash left the Liga Mexicana de Futbol Rápido Profesional to move to Texas and the Professional Arena Soccer League. The San Diego Sockers, a Pacific Division team in the Professional Arena Soccer League and the 2012–13 league champion, played their home games in the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California. The team was led by general manager John Kentera and head coach Phil Salvagio with assistant coach Ray Taila. The Sockers finished the regular season 2nd in the Pacific Division with a 13–3 record, qualifying for the post-season but lost to the Las Vegas Legends in the Division Final.

The 2014–15 Las Vegas Legends season was the third season of the Las Vegas Legends professional indoor soccer club. The Sherbrooke Vert et Or football team represents the Université de Sherbrooke in Sherbrooke, Quebec in the sport of Canadian football in the RSEQ conference of U Sports. The Sherbrooke football team first began play in 1971 in the Quebec Universities Athletic Association, but only played for three seasons. The program was re-started in 2003 and has been in continuous operation since then. The Vert et Or football team is one of two U Sports football programs to have never won a conference championship, with the other being the York Lions.
